I think that this is moving in the right direction, but needs to be even stronger. NO GIFTS of any amount to the Gov, L. gov, att. gen, or any member of the gen assembly AT ALL nor any gifts of any size to their family members, staff etc. I also think that lobbyists should not be allowed to make any gifts of any size and that is to include dinners, golf outings, trips, donations to charities...period. They are there to do the people's business, not benefit from their influence.

The best gift would be for Terry McAuliffe to not run.

I cannot directly receive it from you. So give it to my non profit foundation that has made me rich (who said non profits were not profitable). Or to my lobbyist (who happens to be a relative) and he will see I get it. See we need to fool the public so this is how we launder it.

Why did he pick VA to run for gov? Why didnt he go to NY or something. Im sure Hil and Bill would have paved the way for him. Opportunistic carpetbaggers! And how much moolah has he made lobbying? Gazillions! And now he wants to deny others the right when it suits his political whims!

You refer to The Punk as the "nominee"- while probably true, not yet so. Please be accurate in your reporting.

He made how many millions last year? And now he wants to pretend he has a conscious and is ethical?

Ha! That is a good joke on us!

I'd like to propose something, too.

How about all politicians and campaigning hopefuls be required to live within average Americans' income for a year prior to running for office, during their tenure, and five years after.

That will make me believe they really care what we think. His suggestion is totally transparent.
