so all the guys in the back of the class who are stuck being grass cutters are going to rake in the double time at txpayer expense.

Why not have convicts do it? If they run add a year for every day they are gone. People with less than a year would never stray.

Will the moving include picking up and replacing state road signs? The Route 250 east sign has fallen off the top of the state mileage sign and been in the tall grass for at least three months now! VDOT drives by the sign every day and nothing has been done. The sign is on the right hand side of Route 250 heading east towards Beaverdam Market and the Womens' Prison in Troy. We are wondering if they will even see the sign in the tall grass and run over it before realizing it is there!

If your neighbors yard looked like our highways you would be petitioning the local government to have it mowed. It's sad when you can't walk along the highway because the tall grass hides broken bottles, snakes, etc.

I agree, don,t mow the grass. Then you can complain about all the deer you hit because you didn't see them. I rather be answering all those stupid complaints that people call in with.
