Reproductive Health Victory in Kansas? Say that Again?

The Kansas legislature is not known for being friendly to women's health. Just last year, the Kansas legislature took away family planning and reproductive health services in an effort to defund Planned Parenthood and prohibited women from purchasing comprehensive health care coverage.

A victory - this time. We must all continue to let our government know we do not want them involved in our personal health care.

A win for the time being. nothing says that what was proposed in mass will not be attached or shoved through separately.

Perhaps on the political end the Kansas Politicians finally noticed that the push back on all the recent interfering with a woman right to make a medical choice concerning her pregnancy may not be as wise as it was thought.

Yes, that means that we do not want them involved in the funding of our personal health care, too. You can't have the one thought without the other. Whatever the government funds, the government is involved in.

Those same people want less government. Then invite that same government to interfere with a medical decision.

Yet, when that contradiction is pointed out. It is seems to be lost on the antichoicers here.

My problem is I can't find a place where the government isn't involved on some level. Where isn't the government involved in health care? Government doesn't necessarily have to fund to be involved. Where in the health care system is the government not involved? Virginia has a mandated ultrasound for an abortion-that's government involvement but I must pay for it myself-no government funding. I am just at a loss to find a place where no government is involved in the health care system.
