Saratoga Springs Elects State's First Black Female Mayor - KSTU

Voters in Saratoga Springs have elected Utah's first black female mayor. City Councilwoman Mia Love won the municipal election Tuesday, beating challenger Jeff Francom with 861 votes to his 594 votes in unofficial results.

Should it surprize people that the leader of most black strong homes in the United States are black women. They are more than able to lead in our communities in Utah and around our Nation.

I got te chance to meet Mia Love the day of the election and let me tell you one thing the short tome i got to speek with her i was very impressed with her she was so kind and sweet to me and she had the best personality you could ever have as a strong black woman myself i am so proud of what she has done and i am also proud to live in saratoga springs.
