Well,it may not be on his radar, but the idea of party political campaigns is for the the President to be an asset to the Dems on the down ballot. That ain't going to happen if you take into account the Wisconsin recall and the Kennedy Senate loss to Brown. If the Obama campaign is protecting just their turf, so be it. He can't win and lose both the Senate and House to the Republicans and be affective. He would already be a 'lameduck' President to boot.

Now if the Obama opposition would just wise up and work together, we may be able to turn it all around.
