Greetings, to those of you who beleive this is a stunt by disgruntled voters, you need to wake up, stop playing video games, put down your bong and maybe take a few minutes and educate youself on the Declaration of Independance, the Constitution and the Bill of rights. It is not illegal for a state that was it's own nation befor joining the United states. Hawaii and Texas were both their own countries before becoming states. Read the 9th and 10th amendments, this allows state to leave the United States. I can see this going to the SCOTUS for a decision. Texas is actually in a good position for this. Texas trade is larger than most european countries and they are almost debt free. Texas pays more in federal taxes than they receive back for assistance. Without Texas, oil, beef, other food comodities would skyrocket. What could Washington do against 500,000 armed citizens marching on it, they would run. Don't think it can't happen. Those who do not learn from history, are bound to repeat it. The match has been lit and gas fumes are in the air. Obama promised change, careful for what you wish for!
