Jul 9, 2014 Full story: WBEX-AM Chillicothe 63

President Obama and Texas Gov. Rick Perry will meet on Wednesday to talk about the humanitarian emergency at the U.S.-Mexico border, but the real fireworks are likely to be on Capitol Hill, where Democrats and Republicans will begin working on the president's $3.7 billion funding request for emergency operations to deal with the crisis.

Blaming the republicans is not the answer to everything. This simplistic ideological thinking never solves a problem How are you personally willing to help these poor children?

how is it ANY of ours responsibility to help them ... sorry, but things are tough all over, and between you, me and the big blue sea, nobody forced these kids to come here...if the morons, halfwits and idiots in Washington would enforce the immigration reform laws we have, NONE of this would be happening...so, enforce the law, deport the illegals and secure the border...oh, and fine the employers hiring illegals...just like the law says and, viola`, no more problem.

As an early poster stated, this falls on Obama, the word is out that amnesty was in the works and thus this flood pouring across the border.

Build a 20-foot wall all around the borders and line them with electrical wires.
democRATS say it is too expensive.
But they are spending over 10 TRILLION dollars of YOUR TAX MONEY each year on illegal Mexicans.

Many illegal Mexicans live better than those who support them.

Deport them all, regardless of age or gender.

This includes Barack "just-call-me-Hussein " Obama's people, the 15 + million illegal muslims.

Hussein is a detriment to the entire civilized world.

The United States has granted amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants through different amnesty and laws. Before the first amnesty in 1986, amnesty was only given on a case by case basis. Amnesty was never given to a large group of individuals. The first (and supposedly one-time only) amnesty in 1986 gave about 2.8 million illegal immigrations the opportunity to change their status through the Immigration and Reform Control Act (IRCA).(IRCA was signed by Ronald Reagan)
The current crop of illegals are looking for a green card under a 2008 law signed by George Bush II. See: http://www.uscis.gov/green-card/special-immig...
Illegal immigrants don't need amnesty, the feel better off than in their native country. After all they can get work.(of some kind)
The word has been out since 1986, amnesty will eventually come. As to closing the border, the US has yet to prevent the smuggling of illegal drugs, I doubt it can prevent smuggling of people.
Anger, ignorance and blame will not solve the problem, and it really needs to be solved. Anyone willing to pay higher taxes to build the "Great Wall" between the US and Mexico?(alternatively we could borrow)

If Obama cared about America, he would have secured the Border. He should be in prison with Ray Neygan. It will be a chocolate City.

IF Obama is not able to get this situation under control, there could be very SERIOUS unintended consequences.

American patience are wearing thin over the illegal invasion. Anger could begin to build and negatively effect EVERY foreign-looking, foreign-sounding individual, whether they are here legally or not.

Once people have reached the point of having 'enough' of this, they could possibly begin to lash out and take the law into their own hands.

Those protest in California (against the busing of illegals) could begin to stir the nation into an entire backlash against anyone 'appearing' to be illegal.

A VERY DANGEROUS possibility !!!

If American Patience stood by, while GW led 4,500 to their death in Iraq.....this surely won't be any worse.....

Unfortunately, 4,500 Americans dying in Iraq (as you say), is a little bit different than actually having to PERSONALLY deal with the illegal invaders.

There IS a difference .... things that happen over 'there' is quite different than what happens over here.

When people see the government housing illegals, transporting illegals and setting them loose in our cities, I'd say this has a larger impact on Americans than anything that happens over-seas.

Not sure they can be classified, simply as illegals......since they are fleeing genocide in their own country.....How would you deal with these children?
