I agree. I'm glad the non-believers of South Texas can feel like they aren't the only ones. Everyone wants to feel like they belong, right?

I'm certainly in favor, this is something that the region has needed for quite a while.

I don't give a flying fug if someone is an atheist. I'm a believer, but not religious in any sense of the word, but that isn't any more interesting than some dunce looking for a fight by proclaiming he/she is an athiest. I imagine if that is your only achievement in life, you think it is important to everybody else. Sorry, but you're boring as hell.

Wow! I would not like to know you. Not a very nice believer.

@Donny ... I'm sorry you think that trying to form a community of support is the same thing as starting a fight. Should we expect the churches to begin firing upon us all?

Your community of support involves you using different names on each of YOUR posts. Jason, Suzi, Terry, Alicia, Jason Krause and now happy heathen. What name will you come up with next, atheists are us? Your community of support is YOU and maybe one other person in this forum. You fool no one.

I guess you're taking that on faith, huh @Not so sure of you?- I can assure you, we're all individuals, but you go ahead 'believe.'

As someone who knows almost all of the above people I can assure you they are all actual people. I'm sorry if that disturbs you that there are a lot of us here but we are great people. And real to boot! There's really no reason to be angry.

after being a believer for a number of years, one of the things i miss most is the sense of community. i'm incredibly happy to see that south texas has such brave people; starting these organizations and putting up billboards even when they know how likely it is that people will send hate their way. way to go, south texas CoR!!!

I'm real and I'm in your corner on this one atheist folks! It's about time people like us had a community amongst and next to the believers.

Keep up the good work! Thank you for giving me somewhere to go and actually feel welcomed. As an agnostic, it's been a pain being who I am in front of other people. Again, THANK YOU.:D

Never needed a billboard to proclaim what I believe. Religion is a lie that blinds the world.

I was a Christian until I saw the billboard. It opened my eyes and now I realize it was all a lie. Thank you.
