The Tea Party Isn 't Dead Yet

There are 27 comments on the KKTX Corpus Christi story from Jul 30, 2013, titled The Tea Party Isn 't Dead Yet. In it, KKTX Corpus Christi reports that:

At the time, killing it didn't seem like such a hard task. The Tea Party was already reeling after the clown show of the 2012 presidential primaries, and after a couple of hand-picked Tea Party candidates revealed an inability to stop talking about rape, the GOP found themselves still in the minority in the Senate.

Remember when the tea party cared about taxes and not all these social issues? Tea Party for what it was orginally founded (by the koch brothers) is dead. Not sure what you would call that crowd now but its not the tea party.

But whatever party is in power.....they will vote. And they will vote for everything they can get.for if there is one thing we have learned from progressives..."If its free, its for me". And its our turn. Being that no one really cares about who pays the freight in America, whatever happens after us, so what?

You had your turn and you ruined everything. When the reds can survive w/o money from DC, then preach your gospel according joseph smith. Be gone, troll.
Yo jit bag. i grew up a democrar and split my vote. But today I believe conservatism is needed more then ever to clean up the system. I am not talking about Progressives/rinos/neo cons/zionist christians or zionist jews. The corruption must be cut from rich to poor. From foreign concerns to domestic ones. From crony capitalists to shanty pig shit communists who live the opposite they preach. I had my turn! My turn has not started yet. And when the social securityand medicare kick in soon enough, it is going to be a pleasure to increase the deficit massively and vote for anything that pays me and my generation off. whether they are dems or repubs. You wanted this. You got it...toyota!

seems they are still winning lawsuits as recently as this week. Seems the tea party crowd is too busy trying to sneak through abortion and voting limitations; many of which are being found unconstitutional. So much for that small gov, less tax initiative they were originally founded on.

Only in their own minds are they 'rolling'. The voters reject their thuggery and threats of shutting down the government and defaulting on money they've already authorized and spent. Polls clearly show, that even republicans believe, they're headed in the wrong direction because of them. When they all give up their government handout 'candy', then they can get back to us.

The best way to beat the progressive enemy financially is to use the legal law and join them. For their whole movement is based on this. They believe there is no end to resources. Boomers rejoice. For their core beliefs are going to be sorely tested. Many in generation X knows the score is not that great. And Generations XI and XII, don't you waver. Of course you can pull the plug on grandpa to keep the irresponsible status quo going. But you will be remembered like the nazis.
