Garishly politically motivated. Democrats will defend a slovenly, drunken public servant and maintain her in her position after conviction, then try to trash the Governor with a gerrymandered grand jury. Many more Democrats will see the nature of their leadership and leave the Party because of this.

Dont give this too much attention. In two years the world wont care.I*m not a big Perry fan anyways. What the Republicans must do is appeal to Hispanics better to win the White House.I suggest a bilingual candidate as a quick fix for this. That would immediately bring in another 20-30% of the Hispanic vote on top of the 25% the GOP is currently getting. Then it would be "see ya" to the democrats.

The DA is a practicing drunk. I know her and she still gets blotto. I imagine the only to get rid of her is for her to drive into Lake Austin or kill someone.

But Perry is the Governor with the obligation to veto bad bills. He broke no law and Lehmberger Cutthecheese is using her position, which is usually laying down drunk, to stretch the law and get even. I'm not worried, but Lehmberg should be. I have an appointment with some people in ?Austin next week to show some video and still shots of Lehmberg taken over the last six-months with statements from citizens previously unknown to me. My intent is to get this habitual drunk off of the payroll.

HAHAHAHAAHAH!

Not for THREATENING to do something- for DOING something that is illegal: he wanted this employee to resign from her office, and he threaten to withhold funding and when she did not resign, he followed through with the threat.

Look forward to seeing the booking photos...

Sure you do.

I know Perry and not only is he a drunk, he is an idiot.

Those of us have seen proof of this idiocy on numerous occasions.

His new "look"- the glasses- is mindful of the Simpsons episode where Homer finds Kissinger's glasses in the toilet and whose IQ gets a boost every time he dawns the glasses....

Texas Governor Rick Perry presented a chilling summary of Obamas meeting with a group of governors at the White House on Monday.

Perry says Obama made it clear that he doesnt trust governors to make decisions about their respective states on a variety of issues.

Perry said,I dont mind telling you I was a bit troubled today by the tone of the president. When you have governors, and we all compete against each other we are the laboratories of innovation and for the President of the United States to look Democrat and Republican governors in the eye and say,I do not trust you to make decisions in your state about issues of education, about transportation infrastructure, that is really troubling.

Its really not surprising because he is after all, the Imperial President.

Obama threatened any Governor who spoke out against the out-of-control government spending according to Perry:As a matter of fact, I heard him (Obama) say in that meeting,If I hear any of you pushing back, making statements about Washington spends too much money, youll hear from me. If Im a Democrat governor, if Im a Republican governor, Im highly offended by that.

This is a phony charge, payback for Perry daring to close the Border so Obama's terrorist friends in the Brotherhood have to come through another border. It won't stand up in a higher court. This is the same thing the Democrats did to Tom DeLay. It is not a charge that will hold up in a higher court.

Gosh, if only Perry wasn't known as a drunk.

Of course, he is rather stupid so it is hard to tell the difference...
