The world is still amazed how Reagan was no impeached for his conduct as President. Ronald Reagan ran a criminal enterprise out of the oval office, a lot of this madness came out in the televised hearings. As I said it's still a mystery how Reagan was allowed to complete two terms as President and no impeached for high crimes. Nixon broke a few laws and was forgiven so the country didn't have to go through the pain of realizing the president must obey the law. That enabled Reagan to go much further breaking the law at will, just slightly covering it up. Since there were no repercussions against his lawlessness, bush jr was enabled to completely disregard the law, with almost no attempt to cover anything up. Openly breaking the law at every turn. When Pelosi told us that oversight was off the table, bush was even more criminal, knowing he would never be held accountable. The next president utilizing that same criminal mind will not be easily stopped. That was one reason it was important to stop Romney.

I say we allow them to have one As usual, bagger you have it ass backwards. 50 states have NOT petitioned to secede - residents of the 50 states have filed petitions. You follow that? Oh, by the way - GOP Governor's say NO.

I say we allow them to have one No one is going to secede because they would also lose their social security and Medicare, it comes from the federal government. People ALL want their government money and government health care, especially the Tea Party, so no, they won't put their money where their big mouths are and give up their socialism. No way.

John McCain is completely missing the point otherwise he’d be worried about the creeping militarization of U.S. foreign policy not something a Lady Diplomat said. I don't mean this in the "all the U.S. does is bomb! Bomb! BOMB!" way. Rather, as the bulk of the U.S. international affairs budget has shifted towards the defense department, so has the operational control of American foreign policy. This extends to cabinet-level appointments, as ex-generals wind up occupying too many foreign policy principal positions. It is my hope that the Petraeus scandal might cause a reassessment of trust in the military. What John McCain ought to be questioned is the behavior, ethics and massive perks of the military's top brass.

I say we allow them to have one Republican numbers will continue to dwindle until voters get to thinking that the GOP is working for them instead of trolls like Grover Norquist. Will history books of the future show that the demise of the GOP was brought about b demented nobodies like Norquist? Change, modernize, move into the 21st century, treat people fairly – give up the hate and the lies stop pandering. Ask Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly and FAUX to take a hike. Become the party of Lincoln again. Perhaps this election has finally put an end to the T-Bag’s ideology of insanity and the apocalyptic rants of Glenn Beck and the rest of the uber Obama haters on talk radio. The stammering and stuttering of ridiculous talking points by the likes of Sarah Palin have wrecked the party ... extremism will not work on thinking Americans!!

Republicans didn't lose because they failed to get their message out. Voters understand very well what the Republicans' messege is. A majority of voters REJECTED the Republican message. They lost because of what they ARE, not because of what they said. Lincoln would not recogize the Republican Party or want any part of what they have become. Even Reagan wouldn't fit in - he'd be drummed out as a RINO.

Last spring, Jeb Bush echoed some of those exact thoughts...how the GOP was currently unrecognizable, and that his father and Reagan would'nt be comfortable at all....he spoke of the need to divorce the extremeists and move back, toward the center.....

Obama didn't win because he had a great message, but because the GOP message was so bad.

And before anybody chimes in to disagree... Google it.
