Excuse me, but what does the overall State budget have to do with the Lottery? I thought that the entire proceeds from the Lottery were supposed to go toward education? Does this mean that they are not? If not, why not?(If so, then why is our State trailing the whole world in this area?)

I like the lottery. I play the numbers every damn week. Only someone who hates kids, like you, would want to rid us of this wonderful experience. If not for the lottery , we wouldn't have the money for head start, school lunches and free backpacks.

This is quite confusing, they are against the lottery but then they already voted for the $1.1 billion that it generates every year. They want it to stop but they expect the revenue?
