As the Father told those involved in the wreck, "Don't blame anyone, trust in God" as he looked over at the young bois that will need his comforting help. Ha , DO NOT BEND OVER PEOPLE. You better beleive the good fathers were in league with the murderers that ran the illegal bus company. Whomever owns this bus company needs to be in jail on murder charges, murder 1. If these Good Fathers had any part in leasing that bus, They too deserve the same punishment. Virgin Mary celebration, Texas bus company, Vietnamese Catholics, hmmmmmmmm , all thats missing is a born again southern baptist tire changer.

There is a large group of Vietnamese Catholics in my local area, and, they always put the rest of us to shame - they arrive well before Mass starts (I can never say that), and, even though the church is crowded for the Mass said in their native language, many sacrifice comfort by having to stand for the entire time.
Unlike those of us (myself included) who come to Mass "dressed" in shorts and t-shirts, these folks come dressed in their "Sunday best", so, before anyone insults them for making an annual pilgrimage to honor the Mother of Jesus, we'd best take a look at our own pitiful behavior...
As some of us had said about the devoted Vietnamese Catholics in our own parishes - considering that most of them were refugees of the war, they know all too well what is like to suffer...
Surely, these devoted Catholics would not sit here and type insults at those who suffered a terrible accident, by no fault of their own...

So, by your lights, being an uncomfortable, suffering refugee is a GOOD thing? Better than being, say, a content and comfortable refugee? How about a content and comfortable atheist?

Being a refugee of any type is never a good thing, but, similar to someone who's a cancer survivor or a war veteran, all of them know what it's like to go through their own particular ordeal...
It seems many who post insulting comments to this or other stories say what they say because they've never suffered at that intense level - if they did, then, they'd be silent, since they already know, as the saying goes, "what it feels like"...
As for being an atheist - well, God doesn't give up on us, even when we (I) give up on Him, as I've been shown many times...
Have a good weekend out there...

Delusional schizophrenia at worst.
