States with most secession signatures received massive federal funding

Nov 15, 2012 Full story: New York Daily News 214

Those rural red states always recieve more federal funds than they pay in. Then they cry about programs that help the big liberal states that pay in far more than they recieve. That is so typical Republican. They want it all for themselves.

What crap, who cares. A state like Texas sends more tax dollars to Washington than the socialist welfare state of California. And twice as much than most other states. They are entitled to get as much as they can back from the heart of corruption DC.

With the exception of Alabama, six of the seven states that received more than 25,000 signatures on petitions to cut ties with the federal government received more than $10 million from the federal government that year, ABC said

This election was much like the 1860 election when Lincoln won.The divide in this country is deep and dangerous. However, this is 2012 and sucesssion is not practical. What about social security? What about Medicare?Seniors have put 40-50 years of work and payments into the system and its not viable for states to just start a new country with all the responsibilities and security expenses that come with it.

Your quoting from 2008........California and NY are falling on their contributions...California is losing a large number of companies and populatiion due to high taxes and regulations.

Texas is paying in much more each year due to it's growth which has led the nation since 2008. Your social BS is killing the both of CA and NY. Texas also gets back less then it puts in as do california and New York, but the state taxes in both those states eats up more of the citizens pocketbooks.

Texas has more young men and women in the military now than any other state, bozo. That is one of the dumbest posts to appear by a left spectrum that claims better intelligence. Is that the best you can come up with??? The Cartel's don't come here, they go to California mostly and the Arizona desert whey nobammy refuses to do anything about, dummy.
