Illinois governor says Texas governor 'big talker'

Gov. Pat Quinn says Illinois doesn't need advice from Texas Gov. Rick Perry when it comes to jobs in the Land of Lincoln.

I'll take Perry any day. The way things are going, Texas will be able to buy California, Illinois, and New York as soon as they go bankrupt. Lucky for us, we have a good legislature and we won't be buying any loser's debt, but if you have a good business, or manufacture guns and firearm accessories, then come on to Texas. We have water and anyway with Michigan and Illinois about to go into receivership, Texas will just tunnel up to Lake Michigan and take what we want.

At least Governor Perry's state isn't being sold and run by a bunch of criminals. One thing about Governor Perry, he is NOT a puppet to organized labor/crime!!!!!!

Sad for Patty Quinn, most of us in Illinois don't need his advice and only wish he would simply disappear.

I wonder what state will be first in line for a buyout?

Illinois businesses should consider Texas. It is a Real State. Not a state that doesn't get its way it uses corruptive means to do so. Or punish businesses with burdensome fees, taxes, shakedown tactics, and plain and simple corrupt state government with zero accountablity. Now TEXAS knows justice and has a sense of FAIRPLAY. On the otherhand illinois is Ground Zero for Corruption.

Besides Texas is warmer and the people are so friendly and sincere.
