As a resident of California I joind several wind turbine investment groups. They made money because California required SCE to buy the electricty and the taxing agencies allowed investment credits. After about three years the IRS hired a engineering group that evaluated the entire program. The results were that the IRS labled wind turbines toys or hobbies and started action to recover lost revenue.

"In Texas, the problem lies in getting power from the proposed site in the Panhandle to a distribution system..." Do you believe that? I don't. A self-made energy tycoon must have figured out the logistics before everything else. There must be some hidden problem with the potential for lawsuits that would exceed his investments to date (that's $2bn. for parts alone). I don't know what that problem is, but if it is so serious in a Texas desert, it won't get any better in California. Do we really want this in our backyard?

He scammed Pelosi?

You mean like Pelosi, Gore and a whole host of others are currently running the "global warming" scam?

He only "scammed" the ones who actually believe in "manmade climate change". My advice to those who feel they got "scammed", suck it up and stop being so naive and gullible.

T. Boone does noting if it does not make him large sums of money. He'll probably be selling a nice bridge next.

The whole wind farm was a big scam for Boone's profit.
