That is probably true, especially the latter.

The whole global warming scam is based on modeled assumptions.

Agreed ... because there's no such thing as "modeled assumptions" ... hahahaha ... you deniers are outrageously ignorant, LOL.

Keep doing it, awww.

Antarctic sea ice at highest level ever recorded. Wasn't it supposed to be almost all melted by now?

You cannot seem to distinguish ARCTIC summer ice from ANTARCTIC winter ice. Par for the ignorant denialists. And the antarctic winter ice is only slighly larger, due largely to stronger winds off the continent along with fresher water from melting ice sheets (making the water easier to freeze). Since it melts back to the continental margins each SUMMER, this is somewhat irrelevant anyway.

Not true. AGW theory is based on basic physics theory, confirmed by observations made by the US air force in the 50s:

Is that so?

So you deny that these "models" were created by greedy grant funded "scientists" who would NEVER fudge the "data", not even a little to keep the grant money flowing? They're just too "honest" for that right?

Furthermore, are you also denying that is in the best interest of these "scientists" to keep the flow of grant money coming in by pushing the GW agenda?

STFU you ignorant liberal tool.

AGW scientists predicted in 2002, & re-confirmed in 2005 that Antarctic sea ice would increase. Now sleepy sleazy slimy steenking toxic topix AGW denier liars claim Antarctic sea ice increases, as if it disproves AGW scientists. Yeah, ted & its sleepy sleazy slimy steenking toxic topix AGW denier liar buddies go down swinging at the high hard one........ over & over & over again!

That is a really stupid argument that has no basis. It is apparent that you have little concept of how science works. Just another attempt of ad hominem.

Expert after expert predicting an "Ice Free" Arctic.
This very thread also supports the science.

The consensus is clear and denying the scientific facts will not change the reality that the experts know more about Climate Change than laymen posting on" Topix".

Simply repeating, "It's true, I tell you! It's true!" won't cut it.
You can say science 'works' ONLY after it's been proven. Until then, it's conjecture.
Your obstinacy is laughable, especially in the face of all the faked data, failed predictions and hyperbolic rhetoric. You have to admit, dire warnings of imminent doom loose their sting when EVERYTHING you've predicted has failed to materialize. Even your short list of 'attributable' casualties has been debunked.

Lord Hater wrote:
<quoted text>What did Al Gore and his scientists say about what would happen to the Antarctic ice by this time.
They probably predicted recession of all land-fast ice (a general trend). First, note that the 'increase' in winter sea ice happens during 6 months of darkness (no heat from the sun) and therefore is hardly affected by AGW. Secondly errors in the sensor record MAY have overestimated this SMALL increase (<1%) by about two thirds (still pending).

One problem here is that the ice growth is probably related to the ozone hole, NOT AGW (stronger katabatic winds). Modelling of the effect of the ozone hole shows minor growth of the winter ice extent for two or three decades followed by decline. Modeling of climate mostly doesn't include that level of detail for the GCM so it would miss this.

There is NOTHING surprising here. It would be very surprising of climate scientists COULD have predicted every regional climate response in exacting detail before it happened.

<quoted text> Please feel free to quote Mr. Gore.
Al Gore may have brought attention to AGW issues but it is a maxim in any science to 'go to the source' to prevent distortion and bias on reporting. Please feel free to do so.
