I was using the term loosely. The Earth is it's early stages depended upon life, microorganisms, to convert the atmosphere so that it could support life as we know it. These organisms converted CO2 to O2 and organic carbon. The idea is, yes organisms have had a profound effect upon the composition of the atmosphere. Yes, life can change the atmosphere. It has happened before.
Which took millions of years not 100.

we can only hope 'flack', that this kind of outbreak of common sense becomes pandemic among us. our children can believe in fairy tales but depend on the sanity of their parents to point out the difference between fantasy and reality.

Phantom? Nothing phantom about it. The planet gets hot then it cools down. Ice age/warming. Call it a long term winter/summer cycle. You do know that time is a man made phenomenon right. Terra has it's own time cycle.

If you took the 14.5 billion years the planet has been around and condensed it into 24 hours man would be in the last 2 seconds.

AGW SOLVED!! Just stop f**king, people:

http://www.slate.com/articles/technology/futu...

That was easy ... with no need for all the politicized ideological hysteria, either.

With the AGW Threat thus behind us, onward to find some way to smear the enemy (Big Bad OOOOIIIILLLL!!! companies) by spurious linkage to some other hysteria over planetary death by Yellowstone Caldera eruption or planet-killer asteroids or magnetic re4versal or something, I guess.

Let's get cracking.

"14.5 billion years the planet has been around"

You're only off about 10 billion years, give or take a few hundred million.

Denier math just gets worse and worse as time goes by.

Yes, and provided a link to a University of Cornell web site on the subject. Fusion is a nuclear reaction, just like fission. Both produce energy in the process which in the sun's case involves radation at various wavelenghts.
Looks like you might of lost your little mind a while ago. I sure it found a nice loving home with someone who truely appreciate it. Who knows, it might be me.
Also I notice while you claim I am wrong you have yet to say what is happening with the sun. How does it produce light and heat the way it does if I am wrong. Funny, you can claim I am wrong and yet are unwilling to tell everyone what is happening with the sun. A object man has studied for centuries.
