Like the turtle, they never get anywhere unless they stick their neck out. The only time mistakes are not made is when nothing is done. But that is probably a mistake also. We learn from mistakes.

Whenever mistakes are make in scientific studies, knowledge is gained. Mistakes are valuable.

Who would have thought 20 years ago that some ignorant conservative would resort to quoting the opinion pages of Pravda to back his argument?
While they can hardly be called communist anymore, the Russian government is still a criminal, totalitarian construct and a model for radical conservatives who like profit over people.
Teddy takes some strange bedfellows pursuing his dogma....
Very true.

Strange bedfellows- the US oil and coal men and the Russian gas men.

The irony is that the US oil and coal men believe AGW won't hurt them, and the Russian gas men believe it will hurt the US, but benefit them.

It's just about impossible to avoid the GM in USA. They say it applies to more then 80 percent of what we eat.
The corn syrup problem is a priority also because of GM.

Too true. But the bed is more crowded than that, with all those Canadians, Saudis, Iranians, Venezuelans, Nigerians and Brazilians in there as well.

For the clueless:

Norway is the fifth largest oil exporter in the world,

Norway is the second largest exporter of gas to Europe and the third to the world.

http://www.regjeringen.no/en/dep/oed/Subject/...

Norway is the 30th in the 2008 list of countries by carbon dioxide emissions per capita.

Doing nothing is a mistake. Some learn form mistakes to make more mistakes.Whenever mistakes are scientific they correct their mistakes to discover their corrected mistakes are incorrect. One thing for sure they don't admit to them they move on to the next mistake.

Global warming, the tool of the West

http://english.pravda.ru/opinion/columnists/0...

snip
"For years, the Elites of the West have cranked up the myth of Man Made Global Warming as a means first and foremost to control the lives and behaviors of their populations. Knowing full well that their produce in China and sell in the West model and its consequent spiral downward in wages and thus standards of living, was unsustainable, the elites moved to use this new "science" to guilt trip and scare monger their populations into smaller and more conservatives forms of living. In other words, they coasted them into the poverty that the greed and treason of those said same elites was already creating in their native lands.

What better way to staunch protests at worsening economic and life conditions than to make it feel like an honourable job/duty of the people to save "Gia".

Seems to be way too many dims in the US that can't figure out even the basics of hoodwinking 101 by the devout of the mmcc/cc church.

Leave the country for a while and you'll witness the rest of the world laughing at you for your beliefs.

Nope, they didn't need to do that. What has happened is that the rich have found a way to take more from the "unwashed". They don't need anything other than their ability to control the media and government.

While you whine and cry, here is how it was not too many years ago. I remember some of this. Are we pampered today?
