Romney, under pressure to release tax returns, turns fire on Obama

Mitt Romney , trying to fend off mounting pressure to release more of his tax returns, stepped up his offense against President Obama on Wednesday, turning Obama's words against him to argue that the current occupant of the Oval Office is anti-entrepreneur. For the second day in a row, the presumed Republican presidential nominee seized on a ... (more) Full Story

Romney will not release his taxes because Romney did not pay taxes for several years. Voters must not vote Romney in November. NO Romney.

“We aren’t that stupid and you aren’t that clever,” Gingrich said, referring to Romney, the former Massachusetts governor and business executive, during a stop today in Mount Dora, Florida.
“We’re not going to beat Barack Obama with someone who owns Swiss bank accounts, Cayman Island accounts,” Gingrich said.
“This is a man who questioned my credentials as a Reaganite,” Gingrich said.“Do you know how hard it is to run to the left of Teddy Kennedy? He won’t tell you that now.”

I believe in full transparency for all our politicians.

not only from mit romney but especially for obama.

frankly, I would like more information from obama on not only his student grades, but also his birth certificate.

I want it all. and I think as their employers, we should get this information from each and every politician.

Romney has released all the tax records that are required. Until obama releases ALL of his records then Romney doesn't need to release anything else.

Obama released his latest 6 years of taxes and Romney refuses to. Shows that Romney is hiding things from voters he does not want revealed.

What that hell does taxes got to do with governing?

He paid them? Yes! Done!

Don't waste my time with crap! Tell me what are you going to do to grease up this economy and keep us away from far away land that has nothing to do with us!

The average American will probably puke when they see how much Romney has made and how little he has paid in taxes.

You are right. Romney and friends have hired lobbyists to bribe congress to write special tax codes for them to avoid paying many taxes and paying very little taxes on the rest.

frankly, I don't think it should be a match where one does something before another does it too.

they should BOTH be as transparent as they can possibly be.

if romney has nothing to hide, it would be in his own interest to show all and as quickly as possible because that would result in the voters pushing for obama to fess up too.

and as we all know... obama is hiding a hell of lot more than romney is. fact is - I don't think the guy is not even eligible to be president. and our supreme court is preventing this fact to be exposed.

And what is your reasoning for Pelosi and Reid, along with the rest of Congress, for not releasing their tax returns?

You know accusing Congress of accepting bribes is a pretty serious charge there bubba.

Now if what you say is true, and by no means do I for 1 momenrt believe that, then explain why the dumocrats didn't fix all this when they had complete control of the Government. If it is such a big deal then lets have obma's tax records for as long as he wants Romney's, lets have his College Transcripts, lets have the truth behind him and his terrorist friends, lets have the complete story behind his association with the corrupt Chicago politics.

True bu the problem is that no matter what Romney releases obamwill never fes up and the press will never put the same pressure on him the do on Romney.

“The fact is, there are a couple of years he may not have paid any taxes. Maybe he’s concerned about that. But if it’s going to come out, he needs to get it out now so he has a couple of months to explain it.”
