And you garnered all that simply by looking at a forty year old picture!? Amazing! Its a shame you didn't know enough to tell a marine from a soldier, though. That might have lent a tad bit of credibility. I'm still chuckling at your juvenile attempts to piss me off! I was probably wounded in Vietnam when your dad was learning how to pee standing up.

You are neither a soldier or a marine. You are one of the many phonies that claim to be a "war vet" when in reality you are a lowdown, stinking coward. Stop smoking pot, move out of your mama's basement, and get a JOB, you commie-loving dumbazz, hippie!

Crooked liberal media wrote: <quoted text> ... The truth is, it is liberals who hate America who are the ones obsessed with race. The conservatives are.more concerned with losing what makes America work - freedom and capitalism. LOL, hilarious. This has got to be satire since the GOP passed the PAT ACT and removed all our freedoms, and they have allowed oligarchy after oligarchy to eliminate capitalism. Not to mention that following the republican policies has destroyed what makes America work. Just too funny.

Joined the Corps right out of high school in 1970. Haven't smoked any pot since I rotated back. Don't eed a job, really. I live pretty well on my retirement check (almost 25 years in service), and what I make as a freelance tech. Mom's been dead for about twenty years and they dozed her house to build a bigger one there. I don't know if it even HAS a basement. Just want you to know that I REALY enjoy reading your posts!!! Very little makes me laugh these days. Thanx.

The major cities of Texas overwhelmingly voted for Obama! Dallas County; Obama 57% Romney 42%, Bexar County (San Antonio) Obama 52% Romney 47% and Travis County (Austin) Obama 60% Romney 38%. Impressive numbers, huh? Now, we just need a good solid Democrat to oppose Rick Perry. Are the Castro brothers busy?

TX is turning purple - in 2 or 3 more election cycles it will be blue. Then CA, NY, and TX will all be blue - the R's will never again win a presidential election if TX turns blue

Except for George Bush, and to some extent Perry, most Texas Republicans have shunned Hispanics as "not our kind of people." They actually refused to let the Hispanic Republican group merge into the "regular"Republican party here! But if the Bush grandchildren, some of whom have a Hispanic mother, get active here, as they seem determined to do, they could change that. Hispanics and Republicans have some values in common: strong families, a paternal attitude, strong religious ties, opposition to abortion and gay marriage. If the Texas Republican Party can shed the tea party cr*p and get their heads straight, they can build with at least a portion of the Hispanic vote.

There is a core of educated thinking people here, but the ruffians are so much louder and more active that it is easy to forget there are sensible people here also. Anyone reading the hateful letters to the editor in the Waco newspaper would never guess those people call themselves "Christians." But they do, altho their behavior is often about as far from Christ-like as they could get.
