I hope people are paying attention, the GOP's support for insane laws in Africa are also their wish for the United States read the links that snyper posted in the first comment.

The tactics used by this right wing GOP against the LGBT community in the U.S. are identical to the tactics used in the late 1930's by Adolph Hitler against the Jew's. Once he was successful in turning the populaces against the Jew's it was open season on any group Hitler seen as unfit and the gay community had been included along with many others in his legalized murdering of humans which was supported by the people of Germany.

With these types of tactics Hitler was successful in turning an entire country into a country of people who supported the murder of minorities and yes Hitler claimed that this was god's will for him to do.

This is the year 2012 and thanks to these fundies we are witnessing the same thing in Africa. This threat of legalized murder is a real threat in Africa and it can easily happen in the United States.

Religion is dangerous and has been the scourge of the world for centuries that has been the cause of hundreds of millions of people being murdered in the name of a god and this includes Christianity. The greatest mistake our founding fathers made was to give a place in our society for religion because all to often it is the birth place for foreign and domestic terrorism.
