Federal Court Calls Texas Voting Maps Discriminatory

A federal court in Washington ruled on Tuesday that political maps drawn by the Republican-controlled Legislature in Texas discriminated against minority voters, a decision that black and Hispanic groups claimed as a victory and the state attorney general vowed to appeal to the Supreme Court.

the district i live in has all kinds of twists and turns to make it go all over the place in order to get a specific number of blacks in it. How is that not discriminatory.

a map specifically distorted to include blacks is no different than a map specifically distorted to exclude them.

The working/voting Hispanics and blacks are upset because they live near illegals and gang bangers who don't vote. Time to move?
