I have listened with shock to scores or Pastor Alamo's sermons at: alamominisries.com

He says girls should be married amd having sex at the first signs of puberty between ten and fourteen years of age. Pastor Alamo says they should marry older men because the younger men could not support them. He once had an entire sermon punctuated by little girls saying, one by one, that Pastor Alamo did not molest them.

Tony Alamo says divorce, followed by marriage to some new partner, is serial polygamy, a Bible sin. Yet he says having several wives at once is taught as Godly, in the Bible.

"According to the Southern Poverty Law Center documents, one such instance occurred in 1988 at the Sierra Highway location, when Alamo allegedly ordered that an 11-year-old boy be beaten with a wooden paddle 140 times for wearing a scarf and asking a science question during a history class at school. As a result of the beatings, the boy reportedly bled through his pants for days."

Judge the threats to the Presidents in sermons 476 at thirty-two minutes into it and at sermon 477 (around forty-five minutes into it).

Tony Alamo news: Alamo claimed in a telephone interview with The Associated Press on Saturday that the investigation was part of a federal push to legalize same-sex marriage while outlawing polygamy. He also said when it comes to girls having sex, "consent is puberty."

Alamo, who strongly defended the polygamy practiced by the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Mormon sect after its Texas compound was raided in April, has long advocated that such unions between older men and teenage girls are God’s will.

“What I’m doing is fighting for these people that they, the ungodly beast, is throwing into prison for marrying someone 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, if they’ve reached puberty,” he told his radio listeners in an April broadcast.

In other radio sermons, Alamo contended that the Virgin Mary was only 6 when she conceived Jesus, asking his listeners whether that made God a pedophile.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.(AP)- The FBI says evangelist Tony Alamo (uh-LAHM'-oh) has been arrested in Arizona on suspicion of transporting minors across state lines for sexual purposes.

FBI spokesman Steve Frazier says Alamo was staying at a motel in Flagstaff when agents arrested him Thursday.

Authorities raided the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries compound in Arkansas last week and removed six girls.

Frazier says he did not believe children were with Alamo when he was arrested. He is scheduled for a federal court appearance Friday in Arizona.

Some critics call Alamo's ministry a cult.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.(AP)- An alleged enforcer for jailed evangelist Tony Alamo faces a felony battery charge after former followers told police he beat members at the preacher's command.

John Erwin Kolbeck of Fort Smith has not been seen since FBI agents and Arkansas State Police troopers raided Alamo's compound in Fouke last month. Reports released today by the Fort Smith Police Department show one teen told detectives that Kolbeck beat him with a board until it broke earlier this year. The reports and testimony at a hearing earlier this week shows others reported similar beatings over minor infractions, like making sarcastic comments about Harry Potter or playing with a spray bottle.

Reports show Kolbeck first came to police officers' attention in March 2006, after they got an anonymous call about a marriage between a 13-year-old girl and a 34-year-old man at Alamo's Fort Smith church. A report shows Kolbeck told officers he performed the ceremony.

When asked if the bride was 13, Kolbeck allegedly told officers "maybe."

TEXARKANA - A federal judge has moved a trial for jailed evangelist Tony Alamo to Feb. 2.

U.S. District Judge Harry F. Barnes issued an order Thursday moving the date of the trial, which was to begin Nov. 19.

A federal magistrate last week ordered Alamo held pending trial after a four-hour hearing in which witnesses described beatings overseen by Alamo and said he'd taken young girls as his wives.

Alamo, 74, is charged with violating the Mann Act and aiding and abetting a violation of the act. If convicted, Alamo could be sentenced to life in prison.

November 18th: Arkansas officials took 21 children into protective custody today while hearings were being held for six others taken from the Tony Alamo Christian Ministries in September.

The 74-year-old Alamo is in jail in Texarkana awaiting trial on federal child sex charges.

Three children were taken into custody at the courthouse in Texarkana, and the other 18 children were removed from two vans during a traffic stop. The court order cites allegations of neglect and physical abuse. All are under age 18.

Alamo has preached that the Bible allows young girls to marry once they reach puberty but has said he didn't adopt the pracice.

At a custody hearing yesterday, a 14-year-old girl testified that Alamo touched her while she was showering, and an 18-year-old man said he was beaten by another church member.

"The newspapers are saying that I am promoting polygamy. I do not promote polygamy, but I do preach the Bible. I do not promote teenage marriages or young marriages, but I do preach the Bible. God prefers women who have reached puberty to marry rather than commit fornication and first degree murder by aborting their children. Both of these sins send the person to hell and to the lake of fire.

The news media lies by saying that I promote polygamy. I do not promote polygamy, but I preach the Word of God, which the newspaper seems to disagree with and the government disagrees with. I preach the Bible, which never condemns it.

Also the Bible tells us how to raise a child and sometimes we must discipline them as God disciplines us. Now the government and the news media do not want us to preach that part of the Bible. Now the anti-Christ government is telling us what we can preach and teach from the Bible and what we cannot preach and teach from the Bible. This is why our forefathers came from Europe, from under the rule of Catholicism, to serve the Lord as the Bible prescribes.

They’re even saying in the paper that they found some pictures. You can go into every house and find pictures, but they are not pornographic. The newspaper is painting a picture that is totally false.

What they are doing is changing the charges on us now. They could not prove that there was any pornography or child pornography and they cannot prove the other charges either. So now what they are doing is bringing in the over twenty year old child abuse charge, which was dropped. The government cannot prove the charges."

Concernining tony Alamo: U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry Bryant unsealed a “superseding indictment” and six other previously sealed documents Monday.

“Juvenile #1 told me that on May 17, 2000, when she was only about nine years old, she and Alamo exchanged wedding vows,” according to a search warrant affidavit. The document describes inappropriate touching of “juvenile #1″ in Fouke, Ark., by Alamo that began when she was only 8. After their “wedding” when she was 9, Alamo allegedly engaged in conduct with the girl that would constitute rape under Arkansas law. Juvenile #1 is now 17, according to the documents.

“Juvenile #2 was only 11 years old on March 27, 2003, when she was ‘married’ to Alamo,” the affidavit said. In either January or February of 2006,”juvenile #2″ was allegedly taken on a trip with Alamo from Fouke to California, according to the affidavit.“Juvenile #2 stated that while en route to California, Alamo had sexual intercourse with her while on the bus,” documents said.”One night Alamo called juvenile #2 into his room at the motel (in California) for ‘massage duty’ and … Alamo had sexual intercourse with her.”

The third juvenile mentioned in the affidavit alleges sexual abuse by Alamo at the age of 12. A confidential source is mentioned in the search warrant affidavit that enabled members of the FBI to search Alamo’s Fouke, Ark., properties Sept. 20. The source told authorities Alamo keeps candy and Barbies in his bedroom. However, a search warrant return left at the compound by FBI agents and Arkansas State Police after the raid doesn’t list Barbie dolls as seized evidence.
According to the unsealed documents, the confidential source told investigators that some of the young girls living in Alamo’s house, known as the school and ministry, are wearing rings. The source allegedly “overheard conversations among the females in Alamo’s house indicating that if a girl has a ring, she has lost her virginity to Alamo,” the affidavit said.
