Since Cain is self-destructing at a fascinating rate, his comments are moot. I just wonder if any of the folks insulting Mexicans would be foolish enough to commit a crime against someone who simply looks like he or she could be a "wetback," since their remarks are so full of hatred.
In post #54 I was asking an innocent question. To answer yours, like Chuck Norris, "I don't call 911!" Anything further?

As an American who has never burned a flag, I would like to say...
An electrified border fence is EXACTLY what communists did in Poland, Germany, and Russia.

nothing says freedom like an electric fence. Just ask a horse.

You know what's ironic? People of Mexican ancestry have been living legally in this country for years. And there are folks who not Mexicans or of any other Latino ancestry who look like they could be. I wonder how many of them have been targeted just because of their appearance, especially in Alabama where the state is paying dearly for their scorched earth policy toward illegal immigrants. They have run out the people who were taking on agricultural tasks that no one else would do.

Then in Arizona, this conservative named Pearce has been voted out, and he was the architect of their harsh policies toward immigrants, namely Mexicans. This is not about condoning illegal immigration, but about a humane way to solve the problem. In addition, there are companies who hire them specifically for the low pay, so it's obviously a multi-faceted issue. However, Cain's campaign is struggling badly as the result of the allegations against him, so it's extremely unlikely he will ever be in a position to enact such a policy.

Now that another loon has blown his own chances at the nomination, his proposals no longer matter. If he had won the nomination, a lot of the people he alienated would have voted against him in the general election, including Hispanics who are here legally.
