She killed her boyfriend and afterwards confessed to police. She claims they have a history of fighting.

Is there any factual evidence indicating a pattern of domestic violence?

Did she file a police report or tell a priest, friend, or mother?

It's her word against a person who is dead and given her confession and continuation in the relationship, my bet is the jury will see the truth (providing she doesn't take a plea).
