Officials in a small South Carolina mountain town say they've accepted the mayor's apology for a Facebook post criticizing a decision that allowed gay couples to apply for marriage licenses.

She says that she did not mean to offend anyone? How could she have intended anything else? Those that believe in God are being told that He would not bless such unions. That is offensive to those people. It should also be offensive to all the believers for who she is assuming to know the mind of their God.

Her apology was no doubt fake, but bigots like her are a little surprised to know their way of thinking is becoming a thing of the past.
