<quoted text>Can't even say her name? You're embarrassed that republicans who voted for Sanford put party first and loyalty to family values, morals, and business second. And you ought to be ashamed too. Elizabeth Colbert-Busch was a good wife, mother, and successful local businesswoman . "I know what it takes for business to survive and thrive in South Carolina. As an experienced businesswoman, bringing more jobs to South Carolina is my number one priority. As a wife, mother and a grandmother, I am deeply concerned about the need to create economic opportunities for our children and grandchildren. " Wow! The Republican dream of 'Wonder Woman' come true. Mark Sanford , like petty tyrants before him, put his own selfish interests, ahead of Family, God, Country . Check this out: http://colbertbuschforcongress.com/issues/eco...
I have a question:

Where is morality, honor, standards?
Let's get this straight. Sanford while governor of SC was using tax payer dollars and a tax payer funded plane to fly to Argentina to have an affair. Then he admits he violated his divorce agreement for trespassing.
So then you elect him to Congress?
LOL!!!!!!!!!!
If this does not shows everyone, no matter what party you are affiliated with, how far we the people have lowered our standards, I do not know what will.
Hell, I bet next that Mark Foley from Florida (you remember the guy, the FL Congressman that was sending sexual text messages to 16yr old Congressional Pages) will be elected of better yet, given the head of DCF job.
You're right. Republicans are desperate to win if they jettison their traditional conservative values, family, God, and homeland patriotism first for choosing to resurrect sleazy politicians/propagandists who have won elections by any and all despicable means like Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, and King SleazeMaker Roger Ailes.

The same way that other successful states have always done in attracting good, reputable ,companies to locate in the state by offering good , educated and trained workers for one example. As President Obama has said ,investments in education for our youth is one of the best ways to strengthen the economy and help businesses grow more viable.'Obama said the government has a role in fostering policies to encourage innovation, improve education and help assure middle-class jobs and opportunity.' See Obama's latest speech he gave in Austin, Texas.

Like Obama's word means anything. But, what you just stated above is a brief overview. There is nothing truly tangible, no true path, no form of actual direction.

They are selling you a bad bill of goods. How many times does a politician have to lie and with hold details till the people wake up to their line of bullshit?

But, if you want to use an Obama speech as a reference point, let me just point this out to you:

“Not Your Income Tax, Not Your Payroll Tax, Not Your Capital Gains Taxes, Not Any Of Your Taxes.”------Lie

"As President, I will close Guantanamo, reject the Military Commissions Act and adhere to the Geneva Conventions. Our Constitution and our Uniform Code of Military Justice provide a framework for dealing with the terrorists."------Lie

"reduce earmarks to less than $7.8 billion a year, the level they were at before 1994.″ ------Lie. Actually in 2010, Earmarks were $15M+

“The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation. In instances of self-defense, the President would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the Legislative branch. It is always preferable to have the informed consent of Congress prior to any military action.”------Lie. Explain Libya, Pakistan, Yemen, Sudan, and soon to be Iran and Syria.

That isn't saying much for the candidate the Democrats ran against him. Democrats thought because it was a woman the voters would vote for the woman. Truth is that is the South people. They only recognize tough, smart capable Women, the kind that Doesn't vote Democrat.

I'm sorry, but seeing as I have a Masters degree, I'm afraid I'm much too literate to write for the kind of tripe for the masses you enjoy consuming. No Onion, Daily Show, or barackobama.com for me. Get a job and a new set of jokes. Your mother is starting to worry that you might never leave home.

If it knew to read, then it might have a clue as to what I had written. It's amazing how Obama has emboldened the illiterate masses. This little pig thinks its opinion is worth anything to me. Whenever I care to hear a little pig give its opinion, I'll tell it what to say so that it doesn't waste more space on this forum.

GOP obstructive behavior nearly jeopardized raising the debt ceiling deal so the U S could pay its bills on time like it had always done in the past.]

[[Read the AUMF:Authorization for the Use of Military Force in Response to the 9/11 Attacks passed by both houses of Congress after September, 11, 2001. It is a declaration of war against international terrorist forces that's open-ended on the powers of the President to wage war. It was reauthorized by both Houses of Congress in 2010 with the National Defense Authorization Act. Do you really want the war on terror to end? It's as easy to end the war as to convince Congress to cut funding off for it(cutting the U S Defense budget ) U S spends 41% of the total global GDP spent on military expenditures with China a distant second at 8.2%. But ,every time Obama suggests only modest cutbacks in U S military spending the Republicans scream that Obama is weakening America and pulls out Benghazi hearings ad nauseam to try and prove it.

Apparently selective teabagger memory is as bad as their selective morality.

You're replying to post #36, Clinton was mentioned in post # 35, so no, I didn't forget.

Teabaggers keep bringing up Clinton like that is going to excuse Sanford but democrats aren't the ones who preach morality or try to project it on to others or try to inject into goverment all the time.

You call Clinton a depraved douche bag, then teabaggers elect one.

Selective teabagger outrage?

My God the man has the IRS sneaking around spying on his enemies. That is what we get for electing someone with no morals, no character, a Corrupt Chicago politician. And he doesn't even deny it. When he was campaigning he alludeded to the IRS spying on his opponents. Ha Ha. Well, it turns out it wasn't a joke after all.

Most of those IRS agents were hired under the Bush W Administration so how sure are you that all those agents are not old school establishment republicans(who also despise the upstart young Turks calling themselves unrepentant teabaggers'. New religion reformers are always suspect by the orthodoxy.

Benghazigate, the IRS fiasco, the gun grab that went sour, the internet tax the Won cannot have, and this is the first year of the second term. Did you see the Press Conference Jay Carney had? Finally the MSM are getting interested in facts. I thought Jay was going to faint, he ws talking so fast. It was kind of like when your child does something stupid, gets caught, and tries to talk their way out of losing their allowence. It was fantastic. They are spiders caught in the widow's web.

You appear to be taken in by the mass media tendency to sensationalize humdrum news more than others . Benghazi-gate? Much ado about nothing. Really, it was about a President openly relating to the press and Congress what he thought and when he thought it about an American diplomatic tragedy--he never said it was the whole truth , but would continue to investigate--he edited 'talking points'! What the hell is wrong with that? Every one revises what they say based on new information. More serious is why the Republicans dismissed Hillary Clinton 's prior warnings about cuts to embassy security and went ahead and cut funding for embassy security anyway? That's as bad a travesty and shame as Bush W dismissing Clinton Administration Intelligence and prior warnings that Osama bin Laden was determined to attack the World Trade Towers in 2001. The IRS fiasco? Those audits targeting teabaggers could just as likely been the plan of Establishment Republicans who fear and resent the teabaggers taking over the GOP.

The Obama agency people edited the talking points 12 times. What the hell is that? That is people caught in their own lies, and going way out of the way not to say, Alqaeda, or Islamist, or terrorists, and pretend we are all through with Muslim troubles. We aren't. Alqaeda exists, Islamic terrorists exist, and there are plenty of Muslims who wish us ill, or would like to kill the infidals. It is iver the cover upfell apart. The truth is coming out, and it doesn't look good for the enemy side.
