2M pound generator starts slow trip across SC

A 1.9 million pound power generator is beginning its slow journey across western South Carolina.

i have looked and looked everywhere for a picture of this generator coming through south carolina. does anyone know where i can find one and more information about it other than it is taking a long slow journey through SC. thats the only info that any website i can find has.

the generator is now at a stand still inside aiken,18 miles from johnston, sitting on the 118 bypass down the road from the aiken high school. it will be there till permitts are approved

It is at #1 and I-20 north of Aiken now--I just saw it.

Will move into saluda county on oct 12. Bridge on 121 over red bank creek was cause for delay. will now move to johnston on 191 then up 121 to fruit hill rd turn left and continue to Mayson FD. turn left on 178 and continue towards Greenwood and out of saluda co.

is in greenwood SC now undergoing repairs should start to move soon and and will be going towards laurens SC

IS leaving Greenwood Finally this WEEK I believe moves like a turtle so easy to find.
sucker will be spending the nifght about every 20 miles or so... contact local law enforcement and they can help tell you where it will be also.
