Who ever gave these underage kids the alcohol should be arrested as well for contributing to minors. It was no accident either it was murder. Why would you put a friend in a wagon and push him down the hill if he was unconscious?

SO SAD AND SUCH A SHAME
|
It seems to me that this Shifflett guy is where he belongs. This doesn't seem like an accident to me. The Cook fellow died from asphixiation, done probably on purpose and they tried to cover it up and got caught. I believe this Shifflett guy killed the Cook guy.

You know it seems to me that so many people are on here leaving comments, who don't even know everything. All we know is what the media tells us, which is by far not everything. I happen to be a family member of Ryans and I don't even know for sure none of us do, but I do know that Ryan is not this horrible person everyone is making him out to be. Granted he had his problems, but teenagers will be teenagers and I am pretty sure we have all got into our share of trouble or did our share of stupid things as kids. It has also came out that they may have been playing this " Blackout" game an for those of you who don't know it is where these kids are choking each other to get some sort of rush (also know as the choking game)..... So this very well could have been a tragic accident. I really don't know, an you people really don't know either. So maybe instead of and leaving these nasty comments about these young men and their families you should keep your mouth shut and not pass judgement. Maybe instead pray for these people.... How would you like to be a mother and see people saying they wish your son or daughter would burn in hell, you wouldn't I'm sure. Maybe you should stop to think there are to families here that have both lost their chrildren.

The parents of Ryan should be behind bars as well! They allowed underage kids to drink at their home. He's been a problem since middle school. They cant pretend hes an angel who accidently killed his friend wrestling are do they think the police are stupid.

I dont know anyone involved at all , all i know is the media details, how do you all know that Eric did not suffocate from his own... We all have kids and were kids , sneakiness comes with teenage years, maybe or maybe not ,the parents knew of the alcolhol and if they did , im sure they will suffer every minute of the day due to their actions.Leave the punishment up to the legal system and most importantly to the only one who has the right to judge each and every one of us. If all of you claim to know so much, why do you still refer to him as cookie, the article says he did not like to be called cookie anymore. Get alife of your own and who knows when and if you will evwer be closely associated to a situation or tragedy like this.

I wonder too, if you even know all of the family members of all of these kids, an I'm thinking not. An maybe you should ask yourself... what would I do if it were my kid, I'm guessing you would be behind your kid too.Maybe before saying all these harsh things you should put yourself in there place one time. god willing you never have such a tragedy of this magnitude happen to someone in your family.......... you know what they say KARMA IS A BITCH!!!!

- Aarons friend got them the alcohol. So they should be charged, not the parents. - The parents were not even aware there were kids drinking in the house aparently if it was a week night and this all accured late at night. Especially when all 3 guys were on probation. I highly doubt parents would just let their kids drink while being on probation. - Friends dont kill friends, i believe it was an accident. These kids were friends for too long to just go kill eachother over a girl or some "text messages". - Do i think it was right to dump the body on the side of the road?? of course not! They should've called 911. But they are young teenagers who just got out of rehab and jail and are on probation and drinking and they paniced. - Eric and aaron were the ones who begged ryan to go out to drink. - Neighbors called the cops when they heard the boys drinking and carrying on, the cops didnt show. - I highly believe non of this wouldve happened if these boys wouldn't of been drinking. So the real problem is who got them the alcohol and kids being supplied with alcohol these days. - My deepest sympathy goes to all the families suffering right now. One family lost a family member. One family will never be able to really have there son at home for awhile. also the family and ryan have to live with this for the rest of their lives. Its a hard situation. NO ONE knows the truth. Except Ryan, Aaron and Eric. Ryan and Eric (Idk about aaron) were trying to turn their life around. Its a shame how things turn out. People saying these 2 boys were "turds" and "pieces of shit" and saying the one should "rot in hell" is ridiculous. The accusations people have of these boys are what they knew of them before they went away. I believe and know these boys wanted to change. As far as i'm concerned, any 3 of these boys couldve died that night. - In the end its a tragedy. Everything will see way in court. Till then, no one knows anything. There are people extremly hurt, from sides of families. I pray for them.

Ryan would not kill someone over a girl that isnt even his girlfriend. I'm not saying this whole situation isnt screwed up and i'm not saying ryan made a good decision. I'm saying no one has the right to say what ryan deserves or doesnt deserve. Thats for the court and the judge to figure out. p.s. aaron posted a comment saying his friends got him the alcohol.

Yeah, see that is a really funny thing that your friend was "tight as shit with Ryan" I thought friends that were tight as shit stuck up for each other..... some friends, I'm glad I don't have friends like you people. Also I seen the caller Id where Eric called Ryan at 9pm to come hang out....an if you would read this you would see Aaron addmitted his friends got them the alcohol.
