State says Portland bar discriminated against transgendered group
PORTLAND, Ore. The owner of a North Portland bar was discriminating against a group of transgendered customers when he left phone messages for them asking them to stay away, the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries concluded.

Here we go again! I can see both sides of this. The bar owner has a business. The Govt does not jump in with a handout when business dries up. The trans women have no where to go if every bar owner feels the same way. Or worse, one bar owner sees the problem and welcomes the women to his bar, but he has raised his prices to make excessive profits at their expense. So whose needs trump the other?
