I think the LEAF represents a significant step forward in moving to electric. The principles behind it may not be new, but there's more of a chance now than ever before of it catching on and sticking.

Oregonians drive SUVs and trucks. Environmentalism and tree hugging is a myth.

Oregonians care about the environment about as much as they care about other sentient beings...from not much to not at all.
