Do the authorities think that it was the same bear? Why "beary" that point so low in the story?

Holy crap! It's only a matter of time before they are carrying off our children! Seriously though, they could get hungry enough to do that, I saw it on animal planet.

If its looking for food then transplant the bear to the area below the dam at Disney. We need less rock climbers on week-ends. I moved here for some peace and QUIET!

I live in Sallisaw and we have several bears in our downtown neighborhoods.
We feed them all the time just to keep them around.

The teacher at that school needs to have her head examined. Those kids need to realize a bear is nothing to fool with. It would be better if she taught them what to do if a bear comes near...they are being taught that this is a game.

My father and I saw one some 20 years ago. We were hunting. I remember just sitting quietly and watching it pass about 3/4 of mile in front of us. I was thrilled. Of course I wanted to shoot it. But good ol'Dad simply hushed me and in doing that helped teach me the majesty of nature.

All that story means is that the bears have expanded their territories and that now the Broken Arrow region is part of their territory. Bears are predators and they do all of the things that predators do, it's neither good or bad. It's what they do and they are not pets, nor lovable. They are bears and will attack whether provoked or not.

Where's the PETA people telling us bears are people too? Now that they're here we will need to provide housing, food and medical care.

If a bear showed up at a Reasors store, would that make it a "bear market"?

Talk about crapping your pants when you walk outside & see a bear in your yard, huh??? I'm a picture taker, but not sure I'd have the presence of mind to grab the camera. I'd probably grab my daughter & run & hide. LOL

"Richard Hoar with the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife."

So how many times was this line repeated in the story? Geez do some copy-editing Channel 6.
