I don't agree with that.
Right now there seems to be racial aggression online. Whites seem upset about Blacks acting like victims. White seem to believe the playing field has been leveled and Blacks are still acting like victims to get more handouts.
Blacks seem to be saying Whites are just being racists by saying Blacks need to step up and move on from the past.
Even if no one talks about it for a while, the feelings would just be dormant until the next time the news brings something up.
This divide is deeper than just not talking about it, in my opinion.
Talking about racism is–in alot of ways–like an entire community discussing the ethics of Nazi Germany. You'd be surprised how many people would take the other side after any given amount of time.
