I seriously doubt that the most common spider in Oklahoma is the brown recluse.

"The most common spider threat in Oklahoma is the brown recluse" is the correct quote from NewsOK, and that is probably true. The Black Widow is another major threat.

Have seen multiple tarantulas outside of Tulsa this year. Not unheard of but upwards of 10+ over the last month.

Although the brown recluse is a common spider, my bet is that it is not the most common. Perhaps the common house/basement spider, or wolf spider might take that honor.

Well you know you have all the Con artist. So I can see them getting the rapist and the bad cops and getting the ones that do crimes with in the Oklahoma system. That is what they need put on there shoes and meet the bad spider there friend. I love this and I will pray that every bad person with in the Oklahoma system that hurt innocent Citizens get one of these in there house and get bit by this bad spider.

Most common spider and most common threat are not one in the same.

I have noticed tons more spiders around the outside of the house this year. Last year was nowhere close as far as that is concerned. I even had to go as far as putting chemicals on the area around the house to try and decrease the abundance of them. Haven't seen too many of the Fiddlebacks, but plenty of spiders nonetheless.

I don't care which spider is the most common. A spider is a spider to me. They all scare me, I don't like them, and my inclination is to kill them all.

We have hundreds of "daddy longleg" spiders around outside the house, they're comical to watch as they try to maneuver over, around and through places their extended limbs are too long to manage. I wonder what sort of demented "designer" would create a species like this.

My dog was bitten by a brown recluse originally we sent this in to the vet so he could check how progress. But it's pretty gross to watch.

In your "spiders" clip last evening, did you mention where to find the glue pads to capture the little rascals? If so I missed that.

Can you tell us where to purchase the glue pads?

Thank you.
