They say it is for the kids. It will go to pay for pay increases instead. Teachers only work 180 days a year. My wife is a teacher. She talks of the money the school waste.

nice to hear that a teacher is admitting to the misuse of school funds.(same goes to the state offices that have so much waste- they need REFORM!!) i realize our teachers are underpaid compared to neighboring states, but for working 9 months of the year, and the added benefit of having ALL summer off with the own kids- they make pretty good money.

The Okla. school system does need to be REFORMED!!!! with checks and balances put in place to strictly monitor how the money is spent, where the hell it is going!!! John Porter came to Okla. from NY to try to bring up the system for the students. But no...these crooks in Okla. didn't want that...cos' it would have taken too much money out of the fund from which the crooks dip into from time to time to finance their own personal budgets. Help the people on the east coast!
