Not really.
Ryan is only represiding "TRICKLE DOWN, or 'supply side economics' which we have seen fail under Hover, Coolidge, Reagan, and Bush II.
Trickle down is a dead, false, disproved theory; but that is Ryan's one idea. More trickle down.
And, Ryan's trickle down is just to increase the taxes paid by the suffering American middle class, while cutting the taxes of the rich.
I do not wish to, and cannot subsidize very rich guys. But, that is all Ryan offers.
I am soooo tired of hearing the wealthy don't pay their fair share. The Romney's are one huband, one wife. At 14% They paid 2.4 MILLION in federal income tax alone. Then paid more into State income tax.

On top of that they gave 4 MILLION in contributions oot various charities from whom many of us benefited.

It's all the 'living on entitlements' folks that pay NO TAXES and make the most use of the courts, police, medicaid, food stamps, energy assistance, planned partenthood, low income housing, free daycare, free job training for jobs they never intend to get......should I go on?

Don't kid yourself. It's all the wealthy and middle class and small businesses paying all the taxes. We don't need a tax increase on anyone. We need to cut spending STARTING WITH Obamacare.

George Bush would not play one round of golf during the Iraq war. NEVER entered the Oval office without a coat and tie. Even if he was woken at 2 AM.

Obama uses the whole place like a frat house, plays golfs in shorts, while our military members are at war,for Lord's sake, Michelle cannot get enought tax paid vacations and they fly Bo, the dog on a seperate plane.

Ohio, turn it over to someone who knows economy and business, who had the humanity to shut his business down to search for a worker's daughter, loves the country and will respect the office.

Obama's scared to death of Paul Ryan. Biden's too dumb to be.

The 2008 experiment has failed.

Presidential vacations: How does Obama compare? and this was last year

There has been criticism of the president's vacation at this time. But how does the number of vacation days the president has spent compare to his predecessors? CBS Radio's Mark Knoller has kept track of presidential vacations for years and supplied the data.

So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch.

Among recent presidents, Bill Clinton took the least time off -- 28 days.

Sounds like the Goal of John D. Rockefeller when he got involved with Public Education with the General Education Board in 1902.

"The purpose of the foundation (the General Education Board) was to use the power of money, not to raise the level of education in America, as was widely believed at the time, but to influence the direction of that education... The object was to use the classroom to teach attitudes that encourage people to be passive and submissive to their rulers. The goal was-and is-to create citizens who were educated enough for productive work under supervision but not enough to question authority or seek to rise above their class. True education was to be restricted to the sons and daughters of the elite. For the rest, it would be better to productive skilled workers with no particular aspirations other than to enjoy life." -G. Edward Griffin in The Creature from Jekyll Island

Yeah, at his ranch where his staff joined him for meetings. Not exactly a vacation. is it?

Obama's staff and especially the press corps can't find him half the time. Too busy taping 'Entertainment Tonight'.

Do a search on 'Bo the dog flys to Maine'

You know, up until around January I'd complain, "Good Lord, I never saw any president on TV so much!"

Since then he's slowly gone under the radar. "Where's Waldo?"

The guy's a bad joke at the country's expense for the last four years. We're not looking for 'cool' anymore and he has no substance.

Take away his teleprompter and he's toast. Man there will be some fact checking after the debate.

If Dr.s aren't being paid fair market value, they'll either adapt and improvise, or else they just won't accept new Medicare patients.
.
If they are told they are forced to, they will say FU and move to Costa Rica or New Zealand.
.
So will you sell beans if they embargo them and drive the price down to $6 bucks indy? BTW, I sold another 1000 today.

"A majority of the funds to build the stadium came from the government"

Idiot, the government got the money from the TAXPAYERS. Republicans and Democrats and independents.
And no doubt, the RNC is paying big bucks to rent the stadium and make improvements to it.

The government has NO INCOME other than taxes collected from citizens. The government pays for NOTHING, taxpayers pay for it all.

The government is to serve at the taxpayers pleasure. Their bosses, if you will, who pay them their salaries, health care and pensions, along with their expensive junkets, like those recently uncovered re the GSA, Federal Courts and now the Veteran's Administration.$22,000.00 for a short film spoofing the movie "Patton' for their private entertainment when we have 8.7% unemployment. An insult to any ethical person.

You don't raise taxes and you don't waste money during an economic downturn, which, in reality is a recession.(A 'blame Bush reply can be expected)

Copy, paste and site all the shakey sources you want. We, the people, are not stupid.

I dont think it will happen because the government would loose out on tax revenue if they did that and the government needs every tax dollar they can get right now. About 2 weeks Argentina said they were thinking about getting ready to sell their Reserve stock of Soybeans because the price is so high and the Argentine Government would use the revenue to pay down their National debt and the world soybean market is tight and going to be for some time because South America cant makeup what the US lost this year.

Obama MUST maintain a rigorous schedule if he is to foster enough hate and division in the populace for the Nation to be demoralized enough to surrender and submit to the Progressives Orwellian nightmare. This is the closest the Marxist Collectivists have come to completely transforming America into a Failed State. He mustn't take his eye off the prize.

6 trainloads of beans lined for Claypool LD.*
GPRE (cargil) still receiving corn at Bluffton IN to make ethanol.
.
Did you see farm journal report that we're in worse shape now,(supplies on hand) drought wise than we were in 88, and all things considered, the price of beans should really be closer to $55 a bushel?

I really don't care what happens as far as yield goes. I hope it actually gets worse so the price is driven up hard in November because that's when my insurance price will be set.
.
As it stands now, the income insurance policy I have is guaranteeing $1,100 an acre with the price where its at now. Hope it goes another 2 or 3 dollars higher if not 5 or 6.¦-]

Daily Horoscope for May 18

Aquarius

Watch out if you're going shopping, because you'll be tempted to splash out on impulse buys. This doesn't matter so much if you're feeling flush, but it could cause problems if you're supposed to be counting every penny. Whatever the state of your finances, you may buy items you don't need and possibly even won't like when you look at them again tomorrow.
