Florida Shooter's Dad Is Federal Judge In Virginia

Interesting that Zimmerman's father is a Judge in Virginia. Could this be why Police in Sanford, Florida decided not to charge him with any crime even after Investigator on the scene on Feb. 26, 2012 wrote in his report "Negligent Manslaughter, Unnecessary Killing."
Police did not keep Gun, Zimmerman's Clothing, Did NOT Preserve Scene and it is unclear if Martin's hands were tested for Gunshot Residue, making it nearly impossible to determine if there was a struggle for the gun, as Zimmerman's supporters now claim is his story.
Zimmerman's most ardent supporter, friend and co-Worker, Joe Oliver has quit his job to spend his time making talk show rounds to speak out for Zimmerman.?????? Quit his job?
Interesting too is that Oliver was once a CNN Reporter.
The plot thickens.
Oliver claims to know Zimmerman well but was unaware that Zimmerman was ordered to undergo "Anger Management" classes following a Domestic Violence charge from an Ex Fiancee' and a 2005 incident where he pushed a Sanford, FL police officer during an investigation of underage drinking outside a Sanford, Florida bar. Charges of Assault on a Police Officer were reduced to Resisting Arrest Without Violence.

Another blog, RollingOut.com , puts it like this:
According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.
All three of those arrests, however, were mysteriously closed with no semblance of charges for the Florida resident. So how was someone with a violent past including that of battery against an officer able to carry a 9 mm handgun? Maybe thats a question Robert Zimmerman should answer.
RollingOut goes on to list the arrests and cases in question.
One case seems to be a "he-said-she-said" case of domestic violence where both parties were charged.

There was a resisting an officer without violence charge:
Miller, W Michael

And, most disturbingly, a case where he was charged with resisting an officer with violence.
ZIMMERMAN, GEORGE MICHAEL
OKane, Julie H
CR-RESISTING OFFICER WITH VIOLENCE

Three cases, three charges, all closed.
How did this guy get a gun, let alone a carry permit?
By the selective leaking of information, whose ass is the Sanford Police Department trying to cover? It's own? The former state attorney? Retired Virginia Supreme Court Magistrate Judge Robert Zimmerman's? Or George Zimmerman's?
One thing seems crystal clear. Despite the conservative rush to smear Trayvon, it's looking less like a case of justifiable homicide and self-defense and more like someone trying to protect the privileged son of a retired Virginia Supreme Court Magistrate Judge.

This false report is hurting the cause for Trayvon MArtin. Robert Zimmerman was NOT a judge. In Virginia, he was a magistrate from 2000-2006. At the time, magistrates required no legal training, and had limited power.

Well I'll say what I usually say about your links: they don't work.
However, the first one did, and I'm sure the rest of them probably all say the same thing.
What you are expecting me to believe is that these voice gurus are more dependable than an eye witness? I would love to see the embarrassment of these people in court when the actual witness tells them they are wrong.
Voice analysis is fine when you are trying to determine something unknown. But we know who was screaming because somebody witnessed it.
You are going to have to understand how the media works. The media does whatever it takes to rile people up. The more riled up people are, the more papers they sell, the more visitors to their internet news site, the more people join their blogs to discuss the story. In other words, it's all about money.
The media can't rile people up by saying what we already know: it was Zimmerman screaming. The more the media can convict Zimmerman, the more money they make. It's exactly the same thing they did in the Duke LaCrosse case. When they end up with egg on their face, so what? They don't care. Nobody will remember by the time the next story comes around.

Come on Ray, you and I were both right from the beginning, and it is a bad law that allows people to kill someone just because they want to.
It is not about making money and if that WERE the case, then Orlando Sentinel Journal is guilty of same on Zimmermans side.
Not everyone who has a CCW Permit is a straight up Vigilante, Cop Wannabe, but this guy is and he makes it harder on other responsible carriers to be respected and makes it easier for other people to FEAR them.

Let's Get Real, ;-)
Why would Zimmerman be screaming? He was the one with the gun and the 17 year old had a can of tea and skittles. Didn't look like a man who had 35 minutes earlier been "barely conscious" on the Policie Video, either.
Zimmerman wasn't screaming when he threw the girl acroos the room at the party wher he was a "Security Guard" either, was he?

You are very correct, we were on the same page when this first all came out. But I was going by the medias version of what happened. As this story unfolded, the story changed more and more.
I don't know how close you are following, but now there is an article about the autopsy of Martin that "claims" the doctor seen no marks of the struggle meaning he really wasn't involved in a fight. Then another one about some guy that used to work with Zimmerman claiming he flew off the handle quite a bit. And I'm sure we'll see more and more stories convicting Zimmerman one way or another.
Why do you suppose your local news runs stories about abused cats or dogs? Is that really news? Of course not. But when they run those stories, they get swamped with e-mail and snail mail. Viewers get extremely upset. Some hold protests when the abuser goes to court. It draws a lot of attention to the sponsors of the news outlet.
As for the law, I don't know if it's good or bad. Our law in Ohio is not all that much different. But the mood in this country is for people to be allowed to protect themselves, and the politicians know it. Remember it was Governor Strickland that singed CCWs into law, the Castle Doctrine that had the rider a CCW holder could arm himself in his car. In fact, the law states that your car is also considered your castle, so if somebody breaks into your car, you are legally allowed to kill them just as if they were breaking into your home.
But let's say that my version of the story is true. Zimmerman was walking back to his vehicle, Martin turned around and jumped Zimmerman. Do YOU think he should have been allowed to use his firearm to protect himself?
#15 Apr 1, 2012
Had Zimmerman been walking back to his truck, then YES he had the right to protect himself. But the evidence I have seen doesn't support that theory and apparently Zimmermans' character and criminal conduct does not support that theory.
Not the first time he DID what Police told him not to do. He even attacked an officer. No regard for Authority whatsoever with this guy.

Ya know what...... I figured out this whole case....
After seeing this had powder keg potential, the race baiters have all come out to get all the black folks riled up..... You realize the REAL unemployment for black males is closer to around 40% nationally..... You realize that come April 1st the United States will have the worlds HIGHEST CORPORATE TAX RATE..... Which means there'll be no reason at all for any more corporations to move back to America and create jobs.... And the current rate of growth is next to completely stagnant.
This whole Trayvon deal is to make sure to squash any doubts of black folks who might be thinkin about wondering off the democrat plantation.....
Cause even though the statistics show that folks like Trayvon walking down the street have a lot more to be worried about from other young black males, the desecration of Trayvon is the message that WHITEYS GONNA GET YA......
It makes perfect sense now... "Get the hell back to that plantation boi..... And we don't wanna hear nothing about 4 dollar gas either!!!!!" The exact message from Ceasar... Probably dreamt up by David axlerod.
I hit the nail on the head... Right there.

Really? Really Kenneesaw? Democrats wandering off the Plantation? Axelrod and Obama planned this shooting and the reaction people would have to it? White and black and brown people?
That Obama and Axelrod are absolutely genius, and more so than we all thought.
You are sounding a little nutty, lil' mister.

Those riots in Kentucky were somethin' heh?

I appreciate your honesty. So we agree that "if" Zimmerman did retreat, and Martin did attack him, then Zimmerman had the right to use his firearm for protection.
So the real sticky issue is whether it took place like that or not. I happen to think it did because reviewing the 911 call by Zimmerman, he said Martin began to run. At that point his breathing increased to a pant, and that's why dispatch asked Zimmerman if he was following Martin. When the dispatcher said "we don't need you to do that" Zimmeran's pant fell back to normal breathing within five seconds or so, and he began talking to dispatch in a normal voice.
I think the defense will use that recording to prove Zimmerman did stop running. You can find that section of the call around 2:15.

Your dog is on the right track, but I think you found the wrong tree.
This happened (I believe) in late February around the 26th or so. Why did it take so long for the media to bring this story out?
My theory is that it had to do with the whole birth control thing. The Democrats are always trying to pin one group of people against another, and trying to say Republicans had a war on women didn't work out as they expected.
So they went back to the race card as usual. Even though Zimmerman is a registered Democrat, it was assumed that when the real story came out, conservatives would more or less stick up for Zimmerman and gun rights. That's why they had to refer to Zimmerman as a WHITE-Hispanic.

Trayvon Martin: Enhanced Zimmerman video shows possible head wound
In the twisting and turning controversy surrounding the Trayvon Martin shooting, even evidence that appeared to support one side last week can tell a different story this week.
A newly enhanced version of surveillance video from the night the teenager was shot in Sanford more clearly shows a possible gash or injury on the back of shooter George Zimmerman's head.
ABC News debuted the new video on Monday, in which an apparent wound of some kind can be seen on Zimmerman's head when he turns away from the camera.
The video is an enhanced version of surveillance tape released by the Sanford Police Department last week. It shows Zimmerman being taken into SPD headquarters after the shooting.
Though legal experts downplayed its importance at the time of its release, the video was taken as evidence that Zimmerman had exaggerated or falsified his self-defense claim.
Zimmerman told investigators in the case that the South Florida teen attacked him, punched him to the ground and slammed his head into the pavement in the moments before he fired the fatal shot.
At ABC News' request, the video was enhanced by Forensic Protection Inc., a California video and audio enhancement firm.
FPI president Douglas Carner said the video released by police had very little so-called "noise" a term for the grainy, excess pixels that sometimes appear in such video, particularly at night.
Carner told the Sentinel in an interview Monday that the largest issue with the video was the focus. The cameras were focused on set points inside and outside of the police department and not on Zimmerman's head.
Here's how FPI says it conducted the enhancement:
Carner said they used the badges on officers' uniforms to refocus the video. Once a setting was found at which the badges appeared clearly, they applied it to Zimmerman's head.
Carner compared it to work he's done in bar fight video. In bars, he said, the camera is usually focused on the register.
