My point is that you posit hypocritical views.
On the one hand, you praise laborers (who happen top be unionized) for working in brutal conditions to get your water turned back on after a winter main break, even suggesting a reasonable wage, and on the other hand, you have in the past painted unionized municipal employees as being lazy and overpaid.
So which is it?
Which is it? It's the work will get done union or not. You seem to be giving credit where credit isn't due. Again, if there were no union in sight, the water and electric companies would offer just enough money to attract competent workers to the job. Perfection is supply and demand. So if the water company or electric company couldn't find workers for $35,000 per year plus benefits, they would offer $40,000 and so on.

Believe it or not, companies and workers survive without unions. In fact, most companies and employees do. Unions today are as worthless as a typewriter. Sure, in their day, it was the greatest thing. But we've (at least some of us) advanced from all that now. They are useless and unnecessary.

This is all they have Kenn. The entire election will be based on how they can bash Republicans--not what Democrats have accomplished. So their minions send out these hit pieces trying to convince Americans that the Republicans are on some sort of nefarious clandestine mission.
So in the future, look forward to seeing articles and situations where they are trying to twist and lie about things. If it's not Travon Martin, it will be war on women. If not war on women, it will be gay discrimination or some other nonsense.
Democrats win elections by pitting groups of Americans against each other. Rich vs poor, black vs white, smokers vs non-smokers, gun owners vs non-gun owners, gay vs straight, and of course, this vicious attack on law breakers like the AARP. I suppose they are trying to set the stage for a Republican war on old people, and it won't stop until after November.
This is all they have? Not even a drop in the bucket. Romney is a Democrats dream.
