Now the Prosecutor has dropped the investigation after forcing the Superintendent to admit to poor judgment. But the real question is whether the Prosecutor had a case at all or was just doing his Republican Duty defending the Governor. The only way that the Superintendent would have been found guilty of using public funds improperly was if he was promoting a candidate (pro or con) or a levy. Last time I checked, Kasich is not currently a candidate (as in, filed a petition with the Board of Elections) for any office. Poor judgment, at a time of great stress and disappointment is understandable and forgivable, harassment through your elected office for political brownie points is not understandable, forgivable, or professional.
