Gingrich has the pointy ears of an elf and the belly of ol' St. Nick. I hear when his book tour is over, he has a gig lined up with Pillsbury, something about the doughboy retiring.

The Kaptur-Kucinich race was a set-up by the Repubs in the Ohio Statehouse. Putting both in the same new district meant that one of them would be out.

Kucinich has been around a good long while. I don't think we have seen the last of him yet.

Gingrich is more of a troll. Kucinich and Paul are definitely Elves.

Another crooked Republican trick; Congressman Kucinich would still be in office had their gerrymandering not eliminated his seat. This is how the GOP runs the country - by playing politics and using underhanded tricks to eliminate rivals.

I think America can see this and will take notice and vote accordingly in November.

Good luck, Dennis, we'll miss you!

That's SOP during redistricting. Since Ohio lost 2 seats, I believe 2 Republicans also had to face each other, with one naturally being eliminated. It's always done like that.

At least he's lucky enough to live in Ohio rather than Crackerland. Georgia went for GINGRICH, who's not only crooked, inept, and nasty but washed up, too. I guess they like that kind of stuff down in the stix.

Jimmy Carter's the only politician Georgia ever produced whose record of progressive politics and concern for the average American could match Kucinich's. Most of "y'all" are completely clueless, and happy that way.

Kucinich is a far-left loon who has no regard at all for the U.S. Constitution nor the Rights and Liberties it protects, and is nothing but an opportunistic hypocrite.

Kucinich proposed a plan that would ban the purchase, sale, transfer, or possession of handguns by civilians, IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF The U.S. Constitution, a document he SWORE to uphold. At the same time he possessed a handgun in his own home.

Who the heck needs this hypocritical BUM ?!

GOOD RIDDANCE, DENNIS ! Go join Cynthia McKinney. Another far-left loon bounced from office under similar sicrumstances.

In this case, they had to draw a district that linked Cleveland and Toledo, not only dissimilar areas, but stretching to a long very narrow district to make the connection. The Repubs weren't simply picking off one Dem and one Repub district. They were pretty select about who they wanted to go.

In fact, the recent emphasis on building "shoe in" districts--based on computer generated maps showing concentrations of voters by political leaning, has been blamed for the current Congressional impasse. When your entire district has been drawn to include only the people who think like you do, there is no sense of broader accountability.

His supporters might get confused when all they find on the ballot is Samuel Wurzelbacher and Marcy Kaptur.

"Joe The Plumber" is a COMPLETE FRAUD. His first name is Samuel, not Joe, and he is NOT, and NEVER WAS, a plumber !(He says he worked as an assistant to a licensed plumber for a few years, but quit).
