Read the police report then watch the video. Officers blatantly lie on police report to justify the assault.
Apparently we're not allowed to ask questions anymore?
I didn't remember signing a paper saying I forfeited my 1st amendment rights during a stop, or that I refuse to defend myself when verbally assaulted by a police officer.

I'd like to see what happened initially with the stop. The only video we can see starts with you acting like a tool and being confrontational. Just sayin...

Lots of problems with your alleged "police brutality". Where the police report where the cops allegedly lied? Where's your proof that the in-car videos were "scrubbed"? Where was the "assault"?

I see a video of a cocky prick wanting to argue with the cop at every turn. I see a guy refusing to sign a ticket after being asked to do so 5 different times. I see a dude being cuffed and not following orders, thus getting pushed back against the car. If you want to argue jurisdiction, the place to do it is either at court, or at the cop shop, directed at this guy's supervisor. Your decision to argue this point on the road sealed your fate.

I'm guessing you copped an attitude right when this guy stopped you, and you got pissy when you realized he wasn't going to put up with your mouth. You're lucky you didn't get thumped on for being a douche. We're all lucky that you took this video though. It clearly shows you were wrong and the cops were right.

This guy has had 16 traffic tickets since 2002 in his home county. He is well known to the local police departments since he also stalked and harassed his ex wife and was prosecuted for it. And he's on probation for that offence. So, I guess he should continue paying his attorney ad infinitum, since he'll probably be back in court soon...

Looking at the video, the officer asked you where your front plate was, your response was that it fell off (your own words indicate you are aware it is not on the vehicle), Ohio law required a front rear plate; the fact that it fell off is irrelevant.

Your position was to question everything about the stop and the legal reason you were cited for the offense. You were asked to sign the citation acknowledging you received a true and valid copy, you elected to take a significant amount of time to read every printed and hand written line on the citation, and then question why you were cited for the offense. It was a very simple request, you have a choice, either sign it, or write on it refused. You stated that you should have been given a verbal warning for the offense. Your attitude continued further as you still questioned the traffic stop, and still did not sign the citation. You made the choice not to sign, you made the choice to engage the officer with your attitude, and then youíre at a loss when you are asked to step out of the car, and firmly placed against your vehicle when you were arrested.

This entire incident was brought on your self by your knowledge that your front plates was missing, and letís takes a chance and see if any law enforcement agency does not react to this violation, well one agency did, and I for one would have also looked into this plate violation.

The place to discuss your view point and the merits of the traffic stop, and your refusal do one thing that would have prohibited it from escalating up a notch or two, was simply sign the citation, and appear for an initial appearance on the date and time indicated on the citation... but you elected to argue the merits on the street. You brought yourself deeper into this minor offense, and you yourself will most likely will have no compassion afforded to you in court.

I wonder how many of these besides the chief are police. Police lie. The police report doesn't seem to match up. The actions of the police are such that it is an epidemic against the cops. Most people know the police lie, therefore maybe know one cares if you people get hurt. Wake up! As SGT Friday used to say just the facts and they dont seem to add up. The video doesnt lie either the officers acted like thugs. I hope they are individually held monetary accountable in court. Its time for the police to start eating the weanie.

And where is this mysterious police report that you allege "doesn't match up"?? You are right about one thing. The video certainly doesn't lie. It clearly shows this arrogant puke running his mouth, trying to get the police angry at him, and disobeying their requests at every turn. Hopefully these cops get compensated handsomely for the time they've wasted in court because of this douchebag.

Hey puke, why if the so called cop was in the right, why would they offer to drop charges on him? Just saying puke.

Well put Chief! This situation could have been avoided if he had just asked for a pen and signed the ticket and pled his side in court. The traffic stop location is not the place to debate.

Unfortunately, this department has a bad reputation and gives the countless exceptional LEOs a bad name. Officers on this department do not receive a paycheck and have completed the academy but are unable to find employment or have lost employment at other agencies...background checks are not completed. The officers are not the cream of the crop and have a reputation of arrogance.

As a LEOW, I am proud of the job my husband performs each day. I know that there are officers out there who do things they shouldn't but this is a reality in every profession though. LEOs just happen to be under more scrutiny and there now seems to be an increase of the public wanting to provoke on simple traffic stops. The public needs to be aware though that a traffic stop is where most officers are killed in the line of duty just doing their job. This officer may have been an a** initially but take it to court and debate it there.

Dude your analysis of this event made me laugh. The only valid point you made was yes we didn't see the initial stop. Thanks for the laugh though.

I made many valid points which neither you nor anyone are willing to answer due to the fact that it's just easier for you guys to speculate and make wild accusations with no proof of anything..

The points you've made are themselves speculation, since the video doesn't show the initial encounter. The guy may have been a bit arrogant, however; he did not call the police names, he wasn't putting them down, and he asked valid, lawful questions. So he took his time reading the ticket. And?? When he asked for further explanation , and a pen, the police had no right whatsoever do drag him out of the car and slam his head on it repeatedly. Especially when he said over and over that he would sign the citation if he had a pen...What I think, is that you are a police officer, or former police officer, that is either A) An asshole to people you pull over, B) You're a road guard, or C) Got in trouble for treating someone like this guy exactly the way the cops in the video did. If C, they should face the same judgement. Cops are not the law..they are public servants supposed to uphold the law. Don't get it twisted.

The cops gave this guy ample time to review the charge and sign the ticket. They requested him 5 times to sign in fact, and he still refused.

If this douche wanted to contest it, the place to do it is in the court, not on the road. He's lucky he didn't get his arrogant little ars kicked. Maybe he should've...

Prick or not...speculation or not...he shouldn't have been slammed against the car because Webster was pissed. It's called professionalism and common courtesy. Pete, my wayward ****- you are why the world is going to hell.

Neither of which have any place in a situation where you're dealing with an uncooperative A-hole, especially these days. Douchebags like that are why cops are always on edge. "Common courtesy" is a door that swings both ways.

Especially these days......when the constitution is trampled and we "Americans" are headed for Marshall law. Good job, Pete...see you at the FEMA gate!

I agree the constitution is getting trampled...but not in this case.
