In the Falls you need only 3 parishes: East-St.Vincent dePaul;South-St. Joseph with Sr Mary's as oratory, and North-St. Teresa. E basta!!!

Why in the world does Divine Mercy need bells. Let's pay first our own debt! Are you planning to ring the bells in order to close the parish?
You took the words out of my mouth! I was just thinking the same thing. If they are in debt, why do they need new bells? There must be more important things to worry about other than bells!

Also, close Mt Carmel church in the Falls since it looks like a military coop.

How effective is WOLF(EWTN) as an evangelization tool in the DOB? Does it bring anyone back to the Church?

It's enough that it keeps people in the faith!

Divine Mercy received all the money from the sale of the closed churches - Our Lady of the Rosary, St. George's, Holy Trinity, Our Lady of Lebanon.

How much? Do not exaggerate! Those sales did not bring 'big money' to any of the places sold in the Falls.

Everyone knows that Michael is waiting for Help of Christians, which won't be open until next year. He would be a good fit there, or should I say, a better fit than at Gualberts. He knows it was a mistake to go there. Few people are "impressed" with him. He can't trust his staff; they're hoping and praying that Fr. Peter Z. will take over. Michael knows he needs to get out. The money is decreasing and the people are leaving for other parishes. Everything he does is being undermined by someone - he feels. I wish him luck and hope it works out. The only problem will be that his dilapidated house is within the environs of Help of Christians, which may not be good. Most of the time when he's at home, the neighbors say he's in a drunken stupor, and this just does not look good.
About two years ago, Mike's neighbors were writing on here how bad the house is. I would think that by now he would be using that million dollars from Gualbert's to repair and improve the place. He uses their money for his booze supply, so why not take it to make necessary improvements. Remember, nothing is too good for the narcissistic PhD!

You are right - not much. Maybe $400,000 . Rough estimate -
I can't remember the exact amounts -- roughly: Rosary -$100,000, St. George's -$75,000, Lebanon -$100,000, Trinity -$125,000

Fr. James Greenfield, provincial of the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales Wilmington-Philadelphia province, expressed disappointment in the recent sentencing of Fr. Englehardt and vouched for his priestís innocence while an appeal is pending.
How many bishops are standing up for their own priests who are falsely accused? They condmemn them without trial!

Here comes the wizzard. Papa Francesco has appointed Msgr. Battista Ricca as "interim prelate" of the Vatican Bank. He will take his own minutes of the meetings for Framcesco.

Does this mean we can use credit cards in the Vatican again?
Is he related to the HSBC Execs and the Canadian Consuls who were in Buffalo? Anybody being investigated?

They are checking the treasury of the Temple(s) and looking in the mouth of St. Peter's fish and in Judas' purse, following the money trail around the world.

Unlike, PoloniaPhil (among other aliases), they probably have a life and have no need to be on the blog just about EVERYDAY. And unlike Polonia Phil (among other aliases), they probably have enough things happening in their lives that they do not need to go on-line wondering/asking how people they hardly know are doing.
