You're right on the money. I am just wondering how this fits in with the appoinrment of the new bishop. I don't think any bishop would want to assume a diocese on a downbeat, negative mode. It makes me think the EUK and compamy are going to carry out some nasty deals before the new bishop arrives. EUK may be around a bit longer than expected. And what about SJV/CTK?

BUFFALO, N.Y.(WIVB)- A veteran priest who was abruptly removed from a Buffalo Church over the weekend, is said to have admitted to accusations.
Father Secondo Casarotto, of Saint Anthony of Padua Church, has been placed on Administrative Leave over claims he assaulted a female parishioner last year.
The alleged victim's lawyer contacted News 4 Tuesday night, and says Father Secundo admitted he committed the assault to police.
The Buffalo Diocese is not commenting.
Strange timing for these accusations. Why have they just come up now?

Can you blame Fred? LiPuma will not give him a chance to be a pastor. He has to do what he is told to do or the next thing is they'll retire him and not allow him to say mass.
They've got Fred by the @#$%s. I wonder why Uncle Pius is thinking.

I agree it is strange. I am sure this was all motivated by the desire to liquidate that real estate and end the TLM. Funny that this comes out only now. What is the diocese trying to hide? This supposedly happened a year ago and they permitted him to continue to say Mass, run the parish and participate in its many social events all this time? Who did a 70 year old priest assault anyway? Where are all the details? I find this very fishy and hard to believe that after 25 years something like this would occur.

This is about money and the diocese wanting to end things like this:

Buzz off! You're talking through your dupa. You don't know squat so don't act like judge, jury and executioner.
That's right! Mary Ann has taken all of those positions.

If she likes a person, she is willing to look the other way. So, take a trip to Poland with her, then, rob a bank in front of her and she'll tell everyone that you are innocent.

That's why they call her, "Dunkirk Dupa."

Remarkable pattern between Bialokowski and Casarroto. And Fred Voorhees was sent in as the replacement "administrator" in both cases. What's going on?

Heard on the radio this morning that Buffalo is ranked 7th in negative thinking. Did they poll catholics?

Re website: Ror those of you who are concerned with the issue of sexual abuse, check out the Eastern Orthodox website, pokrov.org . It has a post dated January 7,2012, which details 8 myths about sexual abuse. I think it will strike a chord with readers of this site.

Are these the old ladies that were told they would go to heaven if they could make their sons want to become priests? Where did this nonsense start?

Prolifers try but are unable to get any positive coverage in the media, where editors and reporters are pro abortion. It is different with the various "Save our Parish!" committees. They call the pro abortion newspaper or TV station, and they are sure to get full coverage. In fact, the pro abortion media don't give attention to non-Catholics who bash the DOB, but give ample coverage to CATHOLICS who bash the DOB for any reason. After a "Save our Parish" committee makes the news media, they write to internet blogs to brag how smart they are.("Nobody pushes US around")

This is not to say that those who go to the prochoice media to criticize the Church like the prochoice movement. But the pro choice movement does like THEM.

They call the newspaper or TV station, and get ample coverage. Unlike the prolifers, their letters to the editor get printed, as long as they criticize the DOB. The proabortion editors give no attention to Protestants who criticize the Church, but massive attention to Catholics. Groups that criticize the DOB and make the TV or paper, then write on internet blogs about how clever they are.

Those who use the proabortion media to criticize the DOB do not like the proabortion movement. But the proabortion movement likes them.

Face it, if they haven't reinstated him, doesn't that tell you something? Are you that blind that you can't see that he is guilty? They've given him a canonical penalty. He can say private eucharist but no public. They should've banished him into a life of private reflection at a monastery where he can diddle the rest of the priests.
Where do you get your ideas to think that someone who is not a monk could be "banished" to a monastery? What century are you living in? These are not the middle ages!

Is Mazur going to take another 'bridal' walk through the Casino Niagara in view of everybody with his 'future fiancee?' Any similarity between Casarotto and Mazur?
