Did Zuffy complete his 'ecclesial cleansing' at St. Peter's in Lewiston?

Is Paul Burkard going to change his lifestyle, or remain at status quo?

I heard that CKS is closing soon. Any truth to that?
YES. The Bishops will be meeting in November to discuss what seminaries will remain open. Rome wants to cut the number of semanaries in the USA for several reasons, finances, personel, internal politics. SJV/CTK will probably not make the cut. I suspect it will close in 2104 or thereabouts. Bishop Burke must be turning in his grave.

<quoted text>The will have to analyze the private life of Grosz, LiPuma, Slubecky, Litwin, and few other candidates for the episcopal seats across New York State.Get ready at least with several million dollars for renovations! Try to run the DOB and tell other priests off! Prepare a bottle of Bombay Sephire for this guy! Get ready with canonical sanctions against the wayward priests.
You're probably right. What other candidates might be considered other than LiPuma,Slubecky,Grosz,Zapfel and Litwin. I think they will bring in someone with experience, either an ordinary from another diocese,or an auxiliary bishop form NYC,etc. to run the DOB. Lipuma, slubecky etc. may get smaller dioceses or become auxuliary bishops.

In terms of experience, Cunningham fits the bill perfectly. I don't think Rome even knows or cares how much he is hated in the DOB. BTW, SJV?CTK will close probaly on 2014,2104. Easy to make typos on my laptop.

Fr. poblocki is unjustly 'attacked' by certain individuals on these blogs. Poor guy!
Please let's not make a martyr out of the guy. You weren't there, you don't know what happened. I assure you that what I've stated on here is the truth, what others have said I can't vouch for. But if you're going to have a lot of sympathy for him, try to have a little for his victims too

Is Bob Yetter still living in his 'seclusion' by himself? Who are his nightly visitors? Any idea?
What's going on with Yetter? Is is still a priest/pastor of the mega-church in Amherst?

I'm sure, you're correct. You have great insight. You correctly predicted the pastor, to my chagrin, of the parish to which I belong, well, have membership. Bishop Burke is certainly tossing in his grave. However, I suspect his restlessness started long before the rumors of the former vianney's closing. Also, what happens to former, accused/convicted priests, like Ingalls, Wood, Miller ( a Conventual Franciscan, formerly, of St. Francis High School, Athol Springs, arrested and accused of misdeeds with a male minor), Bialkowski, and the list goes on? Do they receive their stipends/lodging/counseling? May they celebrate sacraments, in private? What do they do? They have no real, marketable skills, certainly not from their education, or lack, thereof, from vianney, or, I suspect, another seminary. Are they left to fend for themselves? Some of the mentioned are relatively young men in their forties. What will become of them? They are not as fortunate as Corapi, who made thousands, and has the where with all to launch a web site.

I haven't thought about Gary in awhile. GaryK actually, somewhat, respected me at vianney, unlike most of his cohort. Didn't know he was a cousin of "Muncie." I cried when he passed. I visit his crypt when I visit my parents'.

Watching the news today, I see the St. Adalberts people are going to continue to embarass the Bishop. Their agenda is to destroy the Bishop's reputation. Being a fellow Pole, I am ashamed of my own people. They didn't have the decency to invite the Bishop,to the closing Mass, they just like saving St. Adalbers even at the cost of the Bishop's good name. You should hang your heads in shame. You claim to be saving a building even if you trample our Bishop before the tv viewing public. I would'nt support you in any way. I think you are a continuing scandal.

Another scandulous story, concern's the story of that poor young man that commited suicide due to bullying in the Williamsville school district. The news carfully doesn't want to say much about the malicious students who thru their lack of proper upbringing, their sense of being privileged characters, since they live in pristine williamsvile. It is horrible that the mean spirited young people this school must feel it is perfectly reasonable to get rid of anybody that doesn't fit the image of their preciious school and village. Thank God for St. Peter and Paul's parish and the compassion they showed. God bless them.

I'm sure you only heard the Rickster's side and I'll repeat this again: Fr. Rick will say or do anything to save his own ecclesiastical hide. Doesn't matter to him who he hurts as long as he's off the hook. What makes me laugh is he truly believes he's going to achieve his mystical "perfect union" with God while he continues to leave St. Hyacinth Parish out of his biography, claiming he spent that year somewhere else. Can Fr. Rick achieve perfect union with a lie on his soul? How about his referring to St. Hyacinth Church, a House of God, as the "Synagogue of Satan"? Would that qualify as blasphemy? But of course all the pity on this blog goes to him while I am depicted as some witch who should be burned at the stake. I have more than paid my dues for believing in and trusting Fr. Rick -- and the cost was staggering!

I don't what Wood is up to. I think he has a degree in physio-therapy. The chancery was furious that he revealed his guilt, but many of us,myself included, respected him for doing so. He was a decent good guy who did his best. (I think some leniency should be shown to priests, like Wood, who have admitted their problem and received therapy. Unfortunately, there is no provision for this in the Dallas Charter.) People are more concerned about the cover-ups at 795 and elsewhere. The DOB is not alone in concealing prolblems. (Spielman would probably have remained in active ministry until 2003,but word about his problem got out in 1993 or so, and he had to be removed,)

Gary Kibler is a troublemaker. I am sure he will be reprimanded by Lady Gaga-Sr. Destructo. Also, LiPuma will summon him to the Chancery to show his 'episcopal power.'
