Tell your deity to shore up his own fragile ego.

And you immediately recognized drug slang.

EVERY religious nut case I have met were previously drug addicts or alcoholics or both.

It's part of the english language, in which I am EXTREMELY fluent. In this particular case, I am a fan of the old 60's-70's underground comic books--robert crumb, s clay wilson, rick veitch, etc.

You appear to know what I meant, peaches...how?

Ironically, I've never done LSD. I tried a few things in my younger days--but nothing intravenous or hallucinogenic. I found out that I'm one of those poor souls who get no real effect from drugs or booze, which usually indicates an addictive predisposition. Not a theory I have any interest in testing. Accusing me of being a burnout is as silly as calling mother teresa a crackwhore.

Well, I call murder, stealing, abuse and battery CRIMES. What YOU call them is up to you.

As far as I'M concerned, the concept of "sin" was invented by religions to create unnecessary fear and guilt in people. It's nothing more than a TRICK to get people to do whatever the religion or church wants. Problem for you and other militant religionists? The trick isn't working as well as it used to.

You left out adultery and lying. What do you call them? Is there such a thing as fear and guilt for you?

Personally, I call adultery a broken trust. I call lying unprofitable.

Who said anything about "wrong"? The subject was sin.

Of course I believe both are wrong.

LOL, there's no gamble there.

If you want to live in fear of a Deity, fine. Be my guest. But any Deity you must fear is not worth the worship.

You have no clue what I've been through in my life, you sanctimonious yutz. Mine probably hurt worse because I exist, though.

Ah, my favorite form of christianity--religion as insurance policy.
