Yes, Transgender is a fact of life! Especially my life! And as you say, the LGB movement did nothing for us, it was TGs and TSes who did it all. People like Phyllis R. Frey, Silvia Rivera, Lynn Conway, Virginia Prince and the thousands of "Trans" girls and guys who fought back against their tormentors when they were still alive to do it. The "enemy" ranged from small town police and legal systems to Drs who wanted pathologize this condition into something that could and should be "Cured". Get off your knees! Stop being a worm! You sound like a mere peasant, begging your patron for some scraps of food.
I worked many jobs, from the early sixties to the late nineties. The people I worked with held nothing back. When they thought you were a queer, they said so. I had my ass grabbed many times. Forget personal expression, I was just trying to fit in and keep my head down, I had a family to feed. Was it tough? sure, but it was easier to endure than the lack of self respect that begging would have brought on. My dog begs, I don't!

Well said Terri.^^^
I'm finding it hard to believe that housing and employment rights to transgenders aren't already covered in the sex and gender discrimination laws that exist now. Equality control disallows discrimination on the basis of gender and sexual orientation; how is it possible that anyone does not consider this inclusive to transgenders. It appears so obvious to me that denying anyone these rights is unjustified and just doesn't make sense.

First of all, I'm not a "Bro"! I take offense when someone calls me "Bro, dude, sir, man" or any other masculine term! So please refrain from addressing me that way. No one is laughing at that crap anymore.
Secondly, What sense are you using "Mad"? As anger? Yes you might say I am angry. Or "Mad" as emotionally disturbed? I was "Mad" until I hit the wall and stopped kidding myself and started going with my natural inclinations instead of trying to please everyone else. Since then, Life has smoothed out a lot. Question answered?

I don't think it is a movement at all.

I do know that the girlscouts and bank contracted wives with the Bishops groups in each City and State has a hate crime to promote the lead males of their counsil. Thier wives are contracted societal hate crimes of slander and disruption of livelihood, 7 years prison if caught on each count; falls under Slander Deformation of Charactor and Dismanteling Livelihood Statues. BUT they need all your 411 for each tidbit their husband is paid no less then $25,000.

I also worked in a Hotel and Motley Cure Vince Neil and Sir Elton Johns, Park Bank President on Park Street and the SOuth SIde Neighborhood COunsil back in the late 90s and early 200s told me to keep all my ideas patented with the bank and they will roll me to a Husband, As the celebrities and Muscians have to be able to market 2 of your own outfit designs, 2 songs, 2 stories, 2 poems, 2 crafts to see how much you pull in for them, and you get the Interest rate contract 60% of what is in the interest account and a percentage of your creation as mass market national or global and then released if you cant hit the Digit $ amount or if your ideas went stale. So Dad said keep a portfolio.

I do not dress transgender or drag, but have been mistaken for the smallest butch in the city. Still doing my fathers Military stuff when I can get around and trying to establish communications through a portal I broke as a kid. I used to watch the muses sirens in the sky, as the molecules took like the most enchanting peoples appreritions on the top of the flat clouds, BUT on the ground people were enacting their wars on your behalf. So I thunked the motion of signal and cracked the cloud, now they dont war on our level anylonger and we never see it, they war thru portal enterences. Bad teeth I seen and they screech like a banchee when they see you saw them. I thought they were funny, Me and a tree diety and a ant colony used to laugh. I gave them colored sugar and they developed a house in less then 30 seconds to show what my home in another realm looks like. I felt rich, my HLafling fiance was so moved and gave me weapons of gold and gemmed silver, I put them under a tree, with some food, a homeless man, my father tracking me, or the alien colony homesteading tracking the giant molecule infant that came thru the portal may need them. I learned to use them form the alien race with quills on their back, they were impressive.

MONEY was not being yused for the gay/lesbian colonies in Madison Wisc. THier was a small few that held sexual confusion, so CA> students set up mainheadquarters in a office space in CA and secondary head qaurters in MADISON WISC> all their CA friends come here to enlist for the money Madison residents did not have need for and take the funds home to establish life in CA. I dont consider that a movement, Home invasion and terrorist attack like a freakin Civil war from back in COlonial periods. SICK people.

UNIFORMS form employment got people to comfortable in man like attire and manners and over working got them agressively slanderous in their rebuttles. No sense spending more money to try to figure it out.

I guess you don't know what facts of life are. Transgender is the opposite, defying the facts of life.
You should have loved the way you were born, rather than reject it to fit into a societal category.
You were your own category.
But it's not too late. Undo. Undo.
You know nothing of genetics or biology. That is evident by your ignorant and bigoted post.

Sad to say, but civilans are not supposed to know anything about genetics or biology unless they are interested going into a field, they are not allowed to help the spposed professionals with their job, if the DR or TECHNICIAN makes a error, legal malpractice and civilian gets paid off their incompetence without harrassment or harm.

When I was a little girl (IM GOING ON 44 NOW) I used to make kissing sounds and tap my knees enthusiastically, when the little boys came around, DAD was US NAVY in many progects some, micro and genetics that he wtinessed.

Anyway "COME ERE BOY COME ON YOU CAN DO IT GET OVER HERE RIGHT HERE NOW STAY" and then I would watch the reaction of their DOG they permitted to slobber on them or skooted on the family rug and the kids had like symptoms of personality switch, or illness of hand footmouth disease.

I KNEW I Would be single for life giving reference for tetnis shots, or referrals to which doctor because primary DNA smear was compromised by DUST MIGHT< PLANT IN HOUSE< DOG or other speices, and we would have to bring conscious back as a reuslt the person is in a partial pararlel brian chamebr (COUPLE OPEN ) not stable and could be lost soon in wake coma and misdiagnosed for multiple personality disorder NOT THEM A CONFUSED CELL IN BODY IDIOT ANIT BIOTIC and BODY WATER FLUSH FOOL Clena water jello and soup for 2 weeks with a booster shot

SAd world. Not even the girls that men save because are pretty can comprehend, that is why they end up dead in broom closets(THE ROOM NEXT TO JANITOR THAT IS LOCKED with FEDS viewing on camera or in courthouse same)

It is a shame that the EEOC made the ruling that the department of Defense
still does not play by those rules, does not include it in their training or
policy letters.
Here is what has happened to me.

I came out in August 2010 while working as a U.S. Federal employee, working
at another division, due to being outed by a fellow team member.

During this time my management and the division management were aware that I
had had a legal name change, and that based upon physician data, the Social
security office, the state I work in, and the Federal government had
recognized me as "Female" and Civilian personnel office had me update and
change my name, gender, and issued me all new identification.

I was told I could only use the executive bathroom at the front of the
building, where my office was located in the rear of the building, and that
I could not use the larger common area women's restroom (even with my gender
showing Female). This lead to a small inconvenience as the common female
restrooms had showers and lockers to change to work out on-site. One two
occasions I had to go to the restroom and either the executive restroom was
out of service, or it was under repair. Needless to say I was counseled
because many felt uncomfortable.

During the nine months after transitioning, the excellent above par,
Superior comments disappeared; replaced by not being a team member, not
willing to work with anyone, to even not being invited to meetings I was
once a part of. I should note this was not for all of the personnel, for
there were a great deal of coworkers whom were supportive, and others who
saw the courage it took to do this and my behavior, values and ethics,
worked to change their attitude and not only accept me, but call me their
friend. For them I am eternally thankful.

Other items included the team I worked on having off-site meeting where I
was not invited and not only did the supervisor condone harassment,
derogatory remarks, and find even the smallest thing to bring to management
for complaints, he not only encouraged it he initiated, and took part in it,
both with his team and with one of the Prime businesses that we had
contracted to work with to support our troops. This resulted in snide
remarks, snickers, and hostility which resulted in my removal from that
office ten months after transitioning there.
Upon my return to the Agency I came from, I was given little or no tasking,
and things I had done unsupervised or as a lead were no longer a lead, but a
menial series of tasks, that either no one wanted to do, did not have time
to do, or did not want to do. All tasks I performed were done under
supervision, met with extreme criticism, review of efforts, and no support,
with greater allowances and excuses for those whom chose not to respond
until past the deadline. Reviews of completed work often came weeks or
months after the completion of the task and always seemed to have to be
redone, when they same formats and data of the reports had received comments
like innovative, excellent work, or superior technical analysis.

The Employment Equal Opportunity office investigation against the harassment
and hostile work environment have no results over a year and a half after
the incident occurred, and the Federal EEOC investigation against the
Business contracted to perform work, and does have a non-discrimination
policy for LGBT, and even the Office of Special Council for the federal
government have yet to resolve any portion(s) of the complaints, all is
still on-going, and the EEO is now approaching
300 days and there is no word on the status, there has been a fact finding,
there has not been any other guidance, and the Investigator in the Fact
Finding allowed his bigoted prejudicial item to be shown , and even after
asking questions to the management, and managements witnesses limited,
restricted and censored the same comments from the witness we provided.

Never thought I would come to this conclusion, but the right TS, is more of a women than GG's. Of course I am more focused on the beauty, charm and personality...Trophy Girls...but I do recognize and am empathetic to the TG (M-F) phenomena, self identity and struggle for dignity and rights. I have in general found T's to be more genuine than GG's, particualry when given basic respect.

I'm in Los Angeles, and this place is now the world Capital for fabulous gurls. Granted, so many are escorts, but many great gurls are mainstream and into regular careers, like my Filipina RN GF.

My first exposure to the scene was about eight years ago at Club 7969 (Peanutts), Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood. This was one cool club, world famous, unfortunately now closed. The straightest guy in the wolrd, will sucumb at some point. For any of those in doubt, just go to Eros.Com (TS Los Angeles) for a view of unparalled beauty.

Just from what I have seen and overheard, the gay community does not really care about T's, no matter what they say. Gay guys and Lesbians seem to resent T's, after all hot T's get the best straight guys.

When I write my autobiography I'm going to call it "I'm Only a Man When I'm Wearing a Dress". I'm am not a "Man"! Never was, never will be! From my earliest days in school I was a "fahg". I tried to be what you call a "Man", But I was always the faHg. Deep down inside I knew it was true. Critical parts of me were female. Secretly I rejoiced! I reveled in femininity. I loved doing girly things. Then at age fifteen I had such a severe case of Scoliosis that It required a full body cast, an operation and six months recuperation It's a women's disease! One more big pink arrow telling me how I was part girl. To shorten this tale I will say only all my life I've been getting these signals. I prayed for an accident that would destroy any vestige of maleness. But to cover myself, I worked at masculine trades. I was a Tool and Diemaker, a welder/fabricator, a Marine mechanic, a hard rock miner, and later a property manager, Bldg Inspector, and Real Estate salesperson. It didn't work! I was harassed and bullied and at times my life was pretty miserable. I took a typing class to get an eventual job as a secretary, but the "Home Position" was murder on my back, neck and shoulders. However, All the time, I was harassed for being too girly. No one would have called me a "Man". The only time anyone did was when I was wearing a dress to remind me that I didn't belong in it. More Harassment!
Regards, Terri
