Is anyone doing the 'real' thing in Northwest Florida. I am not interested in some junk that lasts a couple of months. Had the brazillian 2 yrs ago and it was great. Looking for that again

This is my third time using Keratin. I have it done once a year. My hair is straight, beautiful, and silky shiny. I have thick, curly, frizzy, unruly hair. I started out using Curl Free at age 12, and would relax my hair every 6 months either professionally or using some over the counter relaxer. I am now 55 years old. For the last three years I have enjoyed my hair. I was a slave to my hair especially when it was summertime. I wanted to shave my head and go bald because the hair was so frizzy from the humidity. If you want you can email me to discuss any further questions you may have.(lindamarieclaire@aim.com )

I have unrully, frizzy, damaged and unmanagable hair and I have been using the Cocochoco BKT for the past 6 months - which means I have had 3 treatments done, the last one just yesterday - my hair is now silky and smooth and it looks really healthy so I can not say one bad thing about the Cocochoco treatment.

I had the Keratin treatment done about six months ago and noticed some hair loss after about a month. It's now been about six months and I have significant daily hair loss by the roots. Has anyone else had this problem? If so is there a solution? I also do not see any new growth.

The shampoo your using must have sulfate on them I recomend using baby shampoo that will help
With the hair loss

I love the Pure Brazilian treatment! I had a corrective color done and had to do something because my hair was so so dry and frizzy. After Pure Brazilian Original treatment ( they also have a vegas, all natural one ) it is silky smooth and air dries so nice. They carry it at Prive in Los Angeles which is where i went!

If your hair dresser told you ANYTHING. You CAN NOT wash it for 72 hours. If you do, you just wasted your money.

I am a pregnant...and I really would like to try the Spazzola Treatment as I have seen good results on other people. Is this treatment dangerous for me? Does it contain this formaldehyde? My hairdresser says it does not contain this chemical mentioned...but I really would like a second opinion.

Most keratin treatments have products that do, AND products that DO NOT contain formaldehyde. Your stlyist should know which products they use in that salon and which one is right for a pregnant woman. If your stlyist says there is no formaldehyde in that product for you, you should trust him/her, as a professional. Be sure to use the follow up products (shampoo, conditioner, etc) recommended for the treatment. Do NOT use over the counter products you can buy in the store, as they probably are not right for your hair after the treatment.

My hairdresser swears by Pure Brazilian! She loves this product and says her clients have never been happier! I looked it up online: http://www.fashionandbeautystore.com/pure-bra... and I noticed Pure Brazilian has two types of treatments: Pure Brazilian Reconstructor Solution ORIGINAL and Pure Brazilian Plant Derived Smoothing Solution CLEAR. I am interested in the Clear one. It says there are no harsh chemicals and it's safe even for Children and Pregnant Women. Has anyone tried it yet?

Hi,
Yes I have had this done in Los Angeles and it is amazing! It gives great shine, cuts blow dry time and makes the hair silky. I still prefer their Original Solution but CLEAR is great if you prefer no strong chemicals or are pregnant/breast feeding!

I had the Attitude For Hair keratin treatment and I have been sick with sinusitis ever since....5 months now. I didn't put two and two together until now, and have unfortunately been using a shampoo to make it last longer! Within a week of having the treatment done, I was in the ER with severe pain in my face/head which a CT scan showed was from sinusitis. It will not get better. I have been on antibiotics twice, tested for common allergies(none), and am now using a steroid liquid in my nose for inflammation. Life has been a living hell since the day I got that treatment. I just never thought it was the cause until I found out that those products contain dangerous chemicals, and realized the pain started right after I had that done. My stylist even admitted to me that she gets a bad headache every time she does one. She is sympathetic with my situation, but I don't know if she believes that the keratin caused it. She just says she's never heard this before. I've spent over $1,000 in medical bills plus $200 for the treatment. It's my understanding that every time I am in the shower where it's humid or blow drying my hair, the chemicals are released into the air and I'm continuously breathing it in. I am praying that now that it's been this long it will all wear off and I'll start feeling better.
