You can just google Keratin Hair Treatment. I had a co-worker tell me about it and it is amazing. I would leave my house and my hair would be so straight and nice and once I got to my destination it would be a huge puffball. Now it's silky and straight and I'm loving it!!

Hey I just washed my hair after having the keratin tretment done for the second time and I love it ! This time it def came out alot better. They used the coppola brand, and it wasnt not too long of a process like the first time given the fact that my hair is pretty long it only took her 2 and half hours! Its was also cheaper compare to the other prices I got! I love keratin, my hair is not frizzy, its smooth and I can straighten it in 15 mins or less!

P.S I got it done at Wadie's in East Brunswick.

My name is Luciana and I am from Brazil. My company is located in Miami since 1988 and we make the 4hair Straightening Treatment with keratin, our product can be washed in the same day (just 10 minutes after the treatment is done) and it has 40% less fumes, I can say that it does not exist such a thing as formaldehyde free in this kind of product. We have been working with our chemistry team in Brazil to find a substitute for formaldehyde, but until today the only thing is "formaldehyde". Please go to our web site www.4hair.org . We tell the truth so you can work with security and confidence.
Luc is right. There is no such thing as a BKT that does not contain formaldehyde in some form. They should not claim to be formaldehyde free.

I've used 4Hair 3 times. It's a great product, and you can wash your hair right away.

Hey,
I had mine done by Courtney at the Daniel Island Salon in Chas. I think it was about 175.00. It's been 3 months and I can see it's starting to get a little frizz back. I love it. I can't wait to do it again.

I worked for a Brazilian Hair Staraightening Co. They don't even really know if it's harmful or not, it's all about the money! They would tell their clients it's totally safe but I did my research and formaldehyde is very dangerous. I even showed them my findings but they only wanted to concentrate on the parts of the documents that might imply that formadehyde is not so harmful. They rely on the fact that they have a low formaldehyde content but what they fail to tell the people is that this is sitting on your head for months. It's there while you sweat, while you sleep, while you work. It's formaldehyde sitting for months on your head! You are constantly and consistently being exposed and there are NO studies to determine what the long term effects of this particular exposure can be. Beauty is not worth this. I never felt comfortable working for them because I knew they dealt in half truths. Please think twice before getting this done!
I know that there is formaldehyde inmany things we come in contact with but this is formaldehyde bonded to your hair and designed to stay in for months.

Better stop brushing your teeth then, there's formaldehyde in that 2!!!
It's NOT all about the money and I really wish that folks that don't want to use it in there salon just keep thier opinions to themselves. For those of us who want to please their clients and help them with managing thier own hair, this is the way we feel that we should go. Believe me, if this was that dangerous, the FDA would have banned it, just like they banned the red dye molecule back in 1974. I respect your opinion, I understand what you are saying, but this is how I make a living. How about I dip into your pocket? Why don't we stick to the good things about the treatment, and not what the news media wants to exploit about it. I use a small, but high powered fan on my station to blow the fumes/smoke away from the client and myself. You would have to do 6-8 treatments a day, everyday, for this to even affect me or them. I've been exposed to it for a long time...I don't have cancer, I don't get headaches, I just make my client happy and have alot of repeat business and referrals, for that matter.
Formaldehyde is in alot of things, clothing, paint, ect. If you do any kind of color treatments, you're combining H2O2 and Ammonia and that emits a gas as well. Are you still doing color treatments???
Hummmmm...

I was trained in La Brasiliana...i stopped performing that treatment because it wasn't performing for me. The brazilian keratin treatment is much better at performance and longevity.
Question regarding la brasiliana --- I just had my third treatment done ... I was hoping I would have the same experience that I had the first time I had this done in January. After that treatment my hair was definitely improved. After my second treatment in March, I didn't think it was as manageable. Now after my third treatment, I don't think it's made much of an improvement at all. I'll still need to devote alot of time to blowing and flat ironing.

Is this what you experienced with this product?

Hey Michelle,
YES, the salon that I worked at used the La Brasiliana and we all thought it was great, at first...until we found a better product came along to replace it. There are approx 30 different companies that produce the BKT, and alot of it is personal preferance. I, myself, have found that Rejuvenol works the best for me.
Thanks for your inquiry

Sorry, forgot to add that with the BKT, which ever brand you are using, your hair should be IMPROVING with each treatment, not becoming more unmanagable. Has the same stylist performed the treatment for you each time?

Hey anonymous! Thanks for responding. Yes, same stylist ... I think I'll call her and let her know. I'm really sad that this isn't working for me.

Three days ago I did the GOLESHLEE BRAZILIAN KERATIN TREATMENT to my hair and the results are AMAZING!! I did all the research and came to conclusion that other products either have way too less formaldehyde and some that have way too much. Goleshlee has only 1.8% just enough to keep your hair straight for up to 6 months! If anyone is interested I def. say this is 100% worth it. The website if anyone decides to look into it is www.goleshlee.com thanks for your time in reading this. Goodluck to all

Thats true but does it have no fumes or irratation? Goleshlee lasts for 6 months unlike others that last 2-3 months if that.

Rejuvenol's treatment is lasting any where from 3 - 6 months, depending on which formula is used. We have 4. As for the fumes and irritation, there are very little if you or your stylists have been ceritfied properly. Applying more will not make it last any longer.

I just thought I'd share my keratin hair treatment experiences with anyone interested. I have fine hair that has natural wave, and frizz in the humid climate I live in -- Orange Beach, AL. I also have blonde highlights. I've had Coppola treatments 3 times over a year period. No frizz or wave - even when I went to the beach. During the process, I had no side effects. Although I have had a couple faint headaches while the treatment was in my hair for the 72 hour period -- don't know if it was related to the treatment or not.... But, I absolutely LOVED the results!
A couple weeks ago, I had the Paul Brown Keratin Treatment done, which is applied much like the Coppola, with 72 hours beflore it can be washed. The outcome was VERY disappointing. I really cound not tell a great difference afterward. Do not waste your time or money on the Paul Brown Keratin treatment.
I plan on having the Coppola done again in a couple weeks.

Goleshlee offers many other types of treatments too: Cocochoco; which will reinforce the inner hair structure and restore the natural elasticity from within. It contains cacao extracts, chocolate fragrance, hydrolyzed keratin, vitamins, collagen, poliquaternio and silicon s mix. It will reduce volume, smooth the hair, and increase hair brightness. This treatment works best on curly, thick, coarse, and/or natural damaged hair.
Strawberry; Eliminates 100% frizz making your hair 60% straight, leaves curls soft and loose. Strawberry contains REAL strawberries and vitamin C,potassium, sodium, minerals, manganese, folic acid, riboflavin, copper, omega-3 and fatty acid.Strawberry helps in soothing sun damages, and conditions the hair while giving it rich gloss.
Nina's creation:Brazilian Blowdry; No frizz stick straight, thick strands. It's also a fad fix for processed or color-treated hair.
If you go on our website WWW.GOLESHLEE.COM we have the best BRAZILIAN KERATIN as well as aftercare treatment sets that contain a balanced ph and is compatible with the natural ph of the hair. It promotes plentiful foam that it is rich in amino acids treating the hair entirely.
You will not go wrong, 100% guaranteed results.
On our website we currently have the best combo packages available in big or small quantites.
