<quoted text>I hate to say it, but your posts are starting to sound like the broken record of those people that want all the services offered by the Public sector, but doesn't want to pay for it. How in the heck are you going to get volunteer police and firefighters to work, say, on the East Side of Buffalo? Private School teachers generally use those positions as stepping stones to get a slot in a Public School. As I said before, peel back the layers of Administrators and Managers in Public positions, and then you'll start to see some savings at the Public level.
"Volunteer - someone who willingly gives unpaid help in the form of time, service or skills." People who volunteer do this because of a higher calling, they do not need payment and/or benefits. And there are teachers in private [Catholic] schools that are underpaid but stay because of their love of teaching and not what kind of salary/benefits they can obtain. The general public workers need to take a lesson from these people. I do agree with your last statement though about "peeling the layers of administrators and managers"...some of these people are overpaid and not worth the money they receive.

I say we, the tax-paying citizens, all turn Constructionist, get rid of the dead weight, toss out the crap, and install a system of government that actually WORKS instead of the bloated tick we currently have sucking on our financial blood. It's high time we got rid of the Republocrats and the Demicans. Oops. Sorry. The Republicans and the Democrats.

$100 wouldn't even buy me groceries for a month.

I am a small government Ron Paul supporter, and, yes, we can be very agreeable, when people speak and write reasonably.
Don't you think we can live without all the big government (federal, state, and local) the liberals are trying so desperately to force on the American people?
I agree you with "Man With No Name." All this BIG government is draining the taxpayer. When does it end? And how do we find the right people to elect that will keep the best interest of the taxpayer in mind? It seems every politican today has his own agenda after he has been elected. By the way, does "Man With No Name" have a name?

What's the point of a hundred dollars it would fill up someone's gas tank maybe once the way the prices are raising. Thanks for the offer but why not put the money too something more useful that will actually help our environment. Or may be start building more cars that don't need gas. How about they make more sidewalks so people could ride bicycles. Thank you for your time.
